As much as I hate to say it, Yao messed up his defensive assignments three times. Posey, twice (once knocking down Bradley), and Mobley once, and two fouls on Finley's 3-point attempt. At first I thought they were getting open three's because we weren't getting back on defense. But, no. It was a confusion on who was to switch off on the post screen. If you watch the tape, Yao refuses to switch off on Posey's man. They just didn't communicate. Rudy didn't see what was happening to Yao. He knows now. Go ahead. Watch the 3rd, and 4th quarters. Watch Yao the whole time and you'll see what I'm talking about. These were planed plays to drawn up by Nelson to trick Yao.
