In more ways than one. Yes, losing the game down the stretch in the manner in which we did it was pathetic, but not as much as the crowd, or lack thereof. For a home opener, I would have expected more butts in the seats, especially in the lower bowl. And on top of that, the crowd was pretty quiet with the exception of the rowdies, or when a dunk was thrown down. I know the Rockets were 0-2 going into the game, but damn, it's still early...waaaay early. If you don't want to go to the game, sell your ticket to someone who does.
I think the lower bowl in the Toybox shouldn't be discussed anymore. Complaining about their lack of givashiz is futile. We all know they is teh suxs.
how did you guys like the introductions and the new video. they were ok but i was hoping for more. "it happened once, it will happen again"..... yea well so did the moon landing.
I thought the intro video was cool. On another note, I thought it was funny when they introduced the season ticket holder of 17 years and his favorite all time Rocket was Yao. One guy behind me was like "really"??
The intro video was pretty good, but does not compare to the one used for the last few seasons...why mess with a good thing? Nothing trumps Hans Zimmer. I think the crowd was itching to jump behind the team, except that they laid an egg in the 4th. But what do you expect...the fans are just echoing the body language of the team...these players haven't shown much toughness or heart in the first three games of the season. And that is disappointing because that has been the one constant through much of the adversity they have experienced over the past several seasons. And that Clutch Beatles skit...never do that again. EVER.
NOT IMPRESSED at all this was my 8th straight home opener and to be honest this was the worse. First I didnt get a tee then the crowd wasnt into the game at all. I mean even the ROWDIES werent that loud As for the intros not that impressive, i think Les is cutting down on the overhead costs or something is going down. The halftime show was crap too. The best part of the whole night was when the fan playing tic-tac-toe dunked it i dont think ive ever seen a fan dunk it in one of those little games they play.
For miy first home opener, I was disappointed !! mainly in the fans!! where are all the real fans?! and it is it me , or are the rowdies very weak so far?
