Myth. A contract can have bonuses tied to weight, but his base salary can't be taken away for being a little heavy.
JR You are HAKEEM LEVEL. That means you are the best of the best and that you represent Clutch City. There is nothing higher than HAKEEM LEVEL on Clutchfans, or planet earth.
What's funny is you think that we can sum up an extremely complex analysis of a job which is in itself extremely complex, by one sentence evaluations. Pat Riley leveraged his extreme location advantage and was able to achieve some success on that. You send Pat Riley to Milwaukee to start from scratch and he is going to be exposed for what he is.
It's okay, Morey's master plan is to bag 1 Durant this off-season. We'll be seeing that trophy in no time!
Thanks brother. You criticize Morey (or worse) or say someone else is better and they jump on you like you're attacking their mother! It's nothing personal.
This post deserves a standing ovation! Lol, consider it an honor when delusional homers like larsv8 and justtxyank get their feelings hurt and try and attack you when they realize Maury has had almost 10 years with nothing to show for it other than some tweets and some male groupies.
Wade, Lebron and Bosh colluded and agreed to play together, not to specifically play in Miami. Riley is the guy that convinced them to take their talents to South Beach in the biggest FA coup in history. And he did it in the most alpha manner possible...quite simply throwing his rings on the table in front of ringless Lebron. By doing this he was telling him that he knows how to win and what it takes to win. Riley created Showtime, built the toughest team of the 90s in the Knicks and then took on a franchise that was long considered a joke and rebuilt it from scratch with Mourning and Hardaway. He infused a winning culture and strong work ethics. He IS quite simply the Miami Heat. Morey is not fit to lace Riley's shoes.
You would have fired Riley after his first 10 seasons as team president of the Heat yes? For the record, I have criticized Morey, particularly this offseason's decisions.
Oh hey Kwamers. Still mad we don't have your dream team of Rudy Gay, Tyreke Evans and Larry Sanders? I think one of these days we should go back and take a detailed look at some of your posting history. These are just the gems I remember, but I'm sure thats just the tip of the iceberg.
LOL That Miami Heat team that Riley rebuilt from scratch accomplished nothing for the first decade he was there. It wasn't until the Lakers got rid of Shaq to appease Kobe that all of his "building" finally mattered. For the record, I do not believe Durant is going to sign here and have long been skeptical of the star chasing mentality, but that is exactly what Riley does. If it works next year and say Durant and Horford sign here and the Rockets win a title, Morey will have just as much success as Riley had with the Heat in the same amount of time. I don't believe that will happen, but you guys bashing Morey with the Riley stick are being logically inconsistent.
What exactly is tinmans beef? The real source of the beef? All I can recall is that he had an erection for coach mustache.
Like I said, Brad Stevens isn't fit to lace McHale's shoes. Rick Adelman isn't fit to lace Rick Carlisle's shoes. Jeff Van Gundy isn't fit to lace Erik Spoelstra's shoes. Tom Thibdeau isn't fit to lace Doc Rivers' shoes. Yawn.
Wait. But you're the one that gave the criteria. Not me. You gave the criteria by which you said Morey was superior and then you think it is funny that I'm using the criteria? How come the fact that Houston has no sales tax and great real estate always comes up when trying to lure free agents? Miami has been in the league since 1988. He was the first to leverage the extreme location advantage you speak of into multiple championships.
QFT.. Ignore the delusion no knowledge fool lars. Dude doesn't know anything about basketball besides blind fanboyism
Yea It really is puzzling. People are acting as if the GM is bigger than the team we follow. The slupring is just unreal.
