I really don't see how Miami can get TMAC without gutting the team. I would like to see a 3 way deal with someone else maybe Golden State...

They were just talking about Wade and Miami on SC - and how he doesnt look like he is "having fun". (Must not be fun losing by 28 to Memphis)

I can't believe people actually want Beasley. From the 5 or 6 Heat games I've watched this year, he's really unimpressive.

On top of that, you always have to consider his mental issues, who knows if they might pop up again.

He doesn't get to the rim as much this season. I think all those injury while he was young is now bothering him. He wil be all jump shots in a couple of years.

They want Tracy for his expiring contract. Him and J.O. both will have contracts that end in 2010. They are just trying to make a run at Bosh for next year.

Why would anyone in their right mind want Jermaine O'neal? He's just as injury-prone as T-mac, he's overpaid, hell, he was a backup for a while and outside of shotblocking he's really not very good, it just doesn't seem like a Morey move at all.

I wouldn't mind getting Beasley, but then I feel like you have to move Scola before the trade deadline since he is the oldest of the three and has an expiring contract. If we could get Beasley and package Scola and Battier for something I'd be happy. (only reason I say move Shane is because I don't think you can have $13 MM tied up in him and Ariza)

the only way a trade works with mia is if they send back JO. JO would help this year and make a pretty nice backup to yao next year.

still the rockets need to get more in return. they would have to take cook's contract to get the rockets under the LT (the heat are way over the LT anyway and have a TE large enough to absorb cook) and throw in some picks and a young player and that might be the best offer the rockets get.

We're not getting Wade. We're not getting Beasley (blessing in disguise). The only scenario that is even remotely feasible or makes any sense is some sort of swap involving Jermaine O'Neal. I'd imagine that's the deal being discussed -- if anything.

WAde is averaging 11FT per game, he is doing some sort of contact.

Not really, the Heat can basically swap Q-Rich for T-Mac. Rockets benefit by getting under LT and pick up some assets they can flip before or at the trade dealine.

    Q-Rich + Haslem + Wright (All expiring) + 2010 1st round pick
for T-Mac + Dorsey (via TE)

    Chalmers Arroyo
    Wade Cook
    McGrady Jones
    Beasley Magloire
    O'Neal Anthony

...and has won a ring on the side. I will forgive you for that though. Very easy to overlook. ;)

I would be all for that. Whatever deal they make I hope the Rockets get a 1st round pick out of it.

Perhaps Wade is pushing for them to get T-mac??

You're really for that? Q-Rich? Haslem is nice but no need for him. Dorrell Wright has shown nothing of the potential i once thought he had. Low 1st rnd pick? Eh, Morey can turn it into an avg player but we don't need that.

I'd rather have J'Oneal b/c atleast he would be potentially resigned cheap and be Yao's backup but Miami will prolly want Andersen also for some height.

    Just keep T-Mac.

Would be very interesting. Would take the 2010 pick, no protection. Heat could either be really good or really bad after 2010.

In that exact deal the Rockets would be taking back more players, no reason for Heat to trim the roster. But something seems to be brewing over in Miami.

Heat just whooped the Raptors bad, so maybe they know they need to get their butts in order cuz Riles isnt having it.

    Yes. I'm for it.

    I would trade T-mac for a 1st round pick.

So I will happily take back some expiring contracts if that is what it takes to exchange the drama for a promising young, cheap player.
