Are we sure that we have an exact reason for moving him?

The guy is the heart and soul of this team and fits well next to Harden. His salary isn't going to move mountains in free agency. Maybe it gets you in the door with Millsap... maybe but doesn't do anything to get a clear path to CP3 or Hayward.

Just not really seeing a huge need to move him, but that's me.

Geez, Pat seems pretty convinced that he's being shopped. I'd hate to lose a guy like Bev.

I think its dumb to trade away Beverly, at 5M he is such a great value its like he's free. I dont really understand why the trade rumors are about guards when the Rox already have the best or 2nd best guard rotation in the entire league. Cp3 and Harden might be a marginally better lineup than Harden/Ego/Bev/Lou Will, but at what cost?

You lose so much capspace and also lose a ton of depth. Why not just dump Anderson and sign Millsap or Ibaka and then develop guys like Harrell, Dekker and Troy Williams? Boom Rox suddenly become 2nd best team in the west and will be favored if somebody on GSW gets injured.

Sometimes less is more, Rox pride themselves on getting undervalued players but then go after the biggest and most overrated stars on the market wtf. If the Rox didnt waste time waiting on Horford we wouldnt have been chained with Anderson's horrendous contract to begin with. What if the Rox just signed Batum and had Ariza play smallball pf the whole season? Maybe the Rox wouldve been neck and neck with GSW in the WCF.

Since Dwight is gone, look for Hawks to offer Millsap near max deal.

Seems like PBev is kind of hurt by the rumors. Tweets come off more of him being in his feels then wanting to be traded.

Sell high means you expect his value to go down. Bev is still young and has shown remarkable progress from day 1, he has evolved from a dude who just hits open 3s ad tries hard on D to an actual above average nba starter in the league. He's like the pg version of Green he is both a stat stuffer and an intangibles guy the dude brings a lot of positive energy, plays good d, hits open shots and has added a floater and some basic playmaking to his game. And he makes just 5M and will resign for a similarly small amount given his character (I predict 7M which is chump change). Its dumb to trade him away unless you get a superstar straight up.

Can't blame Bev, dude deserves to get overpaid by some team. This guy is playing for peanuts and has been for his entire career. He deserves at least one payday.
