you need to visit ecclesia...a church near downtown. its' on Taft Street. ecclesiahouston.org. i think you'd really like it.
i don't have a church anymore. recently left it. long story better saved for a discussion over a beer, frankly. you're buying of course! but ecclesia may very well be my new church home. we visited last week. the pastor is a friend of mine from college. he's the one that started the church in Waco where this pastor was electrocuted. he's also the one that wrote the book about seeing God in the Matrix...and The Gospel According to Tony Soprano. big on pop culture hooks to communicate God to people. the congregation is very young.
tonight's no good. i got a hall pass last night, so i need to hang with the kids tonight. but soon...maybe early next week?? monday night maybe??? watch MNF and catch up.
