Lol again with the 8 assist as if that proves he was being a facilitator.

There were countless times where Martin would stand wide open waving his hands but no one would give him the ball.

And Aaron really set the tone tonight by starting the first quarter by chucking the ball.

How can a team feel in rhythm if the facilitator takes the majority of the shots?

This is why RA never get a NBA championship...
Everyone is an assister in his system?
The truth is in the clutch time everyone can't assist.

For those of you who bring up the 8 assist thing for AB tonight, do you know who else had 8 assist last night....here is a hint, he plays for a NY team and it was the most unimpressive 8 assist game I have ever seen.

If AB had 12 assists people would still b**** about him, he is the best player on the floor night in and night out.

Kmart, while looking better, has been really bad at shooting, heck the entire team has.....lol.

AB should be tired from carrying this team all year......

8 assists is not to be sneezed at, and he made some AMAZING passes tonight showing very good court vision.

Is he a finished product? No, but he is getting better.

Give him and Kmart some time to understand where they fit.

Orlando is just better than us right now, .........nothing more needs to be said.

Because people saw the game and saw AB also turn over the ball and seemingly ignore teammates. He had a bad game.

Yep a bad GAME.......where he still was the best scorer on the floor. He had some careless turnovers for sure, but man, the hate around here is amazing, he is our best player, and is still learning the position.

I have something for all the Brooks haters...here ya go.....

Brooks with Lowry is the best player on the team. Brooks without Lowry is a liability. I think Brooks has reached his ceiling. His bad passes overshadowed his few good ones. His dribbling into traffic and turning it over was glaring as well. Problems he's had since day one. But does he ever stop committing them? No.

I know I did. No excuse for ignoring open teammates. Even if he thought he had to "carry" the team.

You know what I find amazing, look up other high usage players and their turnover rate, and get back to me.

Brooks had 5 tonight, too many, but he doesn't average 5 turnovers a game, he averages only.... 2.85 which is not so bad for a guy that has the ball in his hands so often.

Seriously, this conversation is just stupid, he is not the problem.

Yep, he had 24 points and took 22 shots, surely that is the best scorer on the floor

I'm positive any one that says Brooks was our best player tonight was not watching the game.

That's what it boils down to. I can live with turnovers or missing good looks at the basket but when you ignore a team mate (who happens to be a hell of a scorer) repeatedly then there is a problem. Even if it is just for one game, it's still a problem because it's a conscious decision to put yourself above the team. A habit like that rarely goes once a player demonstrates it.

    Ok, just for reference....

    Turnover leaders in the NBA

    Turnovers per game: other PGs.

    Nash 3.8
    Arenas 3.7
    D. Willians 3.3
    Westbrook 3.1
    Evans 2.9
    Rondo 2.9
    B. Davis 2.9
    S. Curry 2.9

    Other notables:

    M. Ellis 4.2
    K. Durant 3.7
    L. James 3.6
    D. Wade 3.2

Heck the list goes on and on.......Seriously, this is mind numbing.

I wish I could reach through the monitor and give all of you a clue, because you desperatly need one.

You're the one making excuses for this game. Instead of just saying "He played bad tonight. We can't have this from our starting PG..."

I think he played below average tonight, but not terrible....for a while he was the only offensive threat on the floor.

Without Brooks we would lose games by 30 every night....

Yet, some people are wanting to blame him for losing to a better team.

It is just mind numbingly stupid.

Lol. At this point I have to agree with DD. You don't hate on 2nd year starters on your team who are your best players and still being developed.
Well, we didn't have any expectations at the beginning of the season. Why now?
It sucks to watch the team lose this way but it benefits the near future. I looked at the inactive players list and what did I find? Yao, Lowry, Ariza. Three of our key players who we badly need are missing.
Time will tell...I sure hope Health happens to this team once

That tends to happen when you won't or can't (see his turnovers trying to pass to Scola in the post) get the ball to your team mates.

Serious question (you may have answered already), did you watch the game or are you just looking at the box score? I like Brooks. Not as much as you but I like him and he was horrible tonight.
