He was actually averaging 30ppg before the wrist injury...shows you what kind of player he can be.

Did we watch the same game? Battier and Budinger played better than Brooks. Brooks shot 22 attempts to score 24 points.

Did you even watch the game?

BROOKS PLAYED LIKE UTTER **** (and I am an Aaron Brooks fan). So many bad passes, horrible shot selection.

3.5 minutes left in the game, 9-point game (because of Kevin Martin, without him, we would probably be down by 40), and Martin does not touch the ball ONCE.

Something to consider...even with his poor shooting performance, he still put up 19 points on 14 shots. Thats pretty good.

I agree 100 percent with your post. I don't expect Martin to be the old Tmac. I just expect him to score and help us win games. As a rockets fan im not used to losing.

I guess you could say AB didn't want to be the Giver.

He also had 8 assists. Not a great night, but he wasn't horrible and he played much better than Martin did.

then theres really no need to worry. it'll just hell naturally and he'll get his shot back. Its not like he'll have to go throw surgery to get it reapiared.(I hope he doesn't anyway)

AB did not play terrible, he played below average, but still had 8 assists and many other set ups that his teamates missed.

Come on folks, Orlando is a horrible matchup for us, they are just better.

    to 5 turnovers.

Better than Martin did? We went down by 27, and Martin (with a little help from Budinger/Battier), got is back within 9.

Imagine if Aaron Brooks could actually finish...He'd probably be the best PG in the NBA offensively.

Look, Brooks is not a bad player (if that's the impression I gave). However, this team has 1 Point Guard on the roster without Lowry. We need Brooks to play Point Guard and not Shooting Guard.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW...no way. Even at least, Martin shot better, less turnovers and was the reason there was even in a game in the 4th. Martin took 14 shots to get 19...Brooks took 22 to get 24.

What do you mean if he could finish? He makes plenty of baskets when he's drives to the rim.

Yeah I don't think JVGOwnsYou watched the game, I think he just looked at the boxscore ignoring the FG line and TO line.

I dont know. I think people dont know what to expect out of Brooks, but he's not going to develop in to a "true PG". Even if he didn't pass the ball like you thought he should, 8 assists isn't bad especially when your main scoring threat is hitting nothing from the outside.

I agree that it will be difficult for martin and Brooks to play together, but you cant fault brooks for martins poor shooting from the field in every game he has played so far as a rocket.
