He's only 26 he isn't near his decline he just needs to get comfortable and that wont happen until Lowry comes back because he is a pass 1st pg.

So let me get this straight. You see some good things from DeShawn Stevenson in one game and are already claiming he's possibly better than Martin, despite Stevenson's trash history with Washington? Oh, that's not all. You're already writing off Martin after only 3 games with a new team, despite his past of being an efficient scorer.

Also, don't speak about the Iggy/Dalembert trade as if it were something we rejected. You don't know what Philadelphia was asking for, and I'd assume they were asking for a lot given the fact that they weren't able to move either one.

I don't understand why you feel the need to pass the ball to Kevin Martin. He is shooting like 0-7 right now.

Well, he's sort of the shooting guard.

I don't like Tmac. I just think Martins spin move is so middle schoolish, its easy to guess where he will end up since he does it 10 times a game

Now do you see why I want to give him the ball?

He's trying to play within the offense like everyone wanted tmac to do. Why is it now that people think our two guard should dominate the ball more?

If your talking about calling for the ball earlier in the game, yea he was open, but not in range of Brook's passes. When Brooks did finally pass the ball, all Martin did was pass it immediatly. Martin needs to be more selfish with the ball.

Yeah. I see what you mean. Hes really lighting it up.

In Tmacs worst years he was a better scorer and passer than martin has ever been.

But whatever. The trade was the right move to make but i dont like people making excuses for martin that werent made for mcgrady. If mcgrady performed this poorly there would be a million threads talking about how crappy he is. Just be fair.

I noticed this too. The players aren’t wrong for this. KM has to work his way up just like everyone else. I think KM needs to set more picks and cut to the basket more. He looks like a rock out there at times.

EVERYONE does the spin move at some point some more than others so what sue him then, big talk comin from a guy who prolly have NO game easy to criticize someone elses' game
Ray Allen comes comes off a million screens per game.. Lebron dribbles the air out of the ball at the top of the key, dirk has the ugliest off balance one legged fadeaway, every player has a distinct style that makes them who they are so whats ur point? ppl love talkin out the side of their neck

sometimes i want to slap people when they say someone is declining when thye have an off year....i wish some of you would look up the career stats of some of the greats, past all-stars, solid starters, in others words, pretty much every kind of player out there. There's plenty who started of well, hit a road bump, and then raised up their play again. Some even did it a few times during their career. We're not exactly playing on-on one trounaments here. Teammates, coaches, roles, and other variable that change from time to time all affect how a player plays. Very few guys dont ever need to adjust, their names are lebron and Wade...because their games fit just about anything, but even someone like kobe had to adjust.

I know how to be sarcastic too. However, I feël that your basketball IQ doesn't merit a detailed, in-depth response . You obviously don't get "it".

and if martin was the same kind of player Tmac was, then that would be a problem, but he's not. it's like comparing their shooting. Tmac wasnt a shooter, martin is.

Wow. Ok. I dont understand basketball because I think mcgrady took alot of unfair criticism? All I know is that mcgrady won us alot of games. martin is 0-3 so far. Until he proves to me that he can be a goto guy and help us win, i wont be making any excuses for him.

you know i was talking to a friend right now about this

i dont know if aaron is "iso-ing" martin but in a way it sure seems that way.

i mean think about it Aaron was the go-to scorer on this team and its leading scorer and was heavily applauded for his scoring ability in the first half of the season. one thing ab hasnt been able to do well is close out games. the rockets bring in a guy who the press keep saying the rockets now have a scorer, a go to guy someone who can help close games...you have to wonder if all that effected aaron.

factor in that AB and landry were really close its probably only natural for aaron to intially have resentment towards martin...the guy who is the primary cause for his friend to be traded and a guy who will directly effect his own play.

it may sound petty for aaron to deny the ball to martin but its also human nature.

hopefully though towards the end of the season this all changes
