Ms. Ginny Stroud: Okay guys, one more thing, this summer when you're being inundated with all this American bicentennial Fourth Of July brouhaha, don't forget what you're celebrating, and that's the fact that a bunch of slave-owning, aristocratic, white males didn't want to pay their taxes.
"I only came here to do two things, kick some ass and drink some beer.... Looks like we're almost outta beer."
[rquoter] [/rquoter] Leave Mitch Kramer alone! Well just don't get him worse than the other guys. He's kinda little. Interview with Wiggins: [rquoter]...Much has been made of Mitch’s nervous habit of touching his nose, was that a natural personal idiosyncrasy or something you and Richard Linklater came up with? A little of both. Rick very chivalrously takes responsibility for it on the commentary track on the DVD. I think that it was really a nervous habit that I had. That it shows up so many times though was an editing decision, and that was all Rick’s. A few people have written me and said that they found it human in a way that you usually don’t see in movies — even “teens” (usually played by adults) in most films are stylized and actor-ly. When someone acts like a normal flinchy kid it seems really jarring. Obviously it drove plenty of people crazy. I don’t really have an opinion about it. It did seem to make the character memorable to some people at least.[/b][/rquoter] The man had a dream, dang it. A dream far more achievable & hallucinogen-friendly than that "Content of their Character" one ever was: Spoiler To those who would dare criticize Wiley Wiggins' acting bona fides, I ask you this: what dream did you ever have?
