Anybody who thinks the Earth is not moving has never downed a bottle of rum the night before. I did plenty of reseach into this back in my college days.

Check out the rest of the guy's site. He's written a bunch of really crazy articles. From what I gather, he's an American of Scottish descent. He thinks the Catholics (especially the Jesuits) are some sort of cabal. The Confederacy was the work of the Vatican and an attempt to join Mexico. He has something out for Columbus and wants to credit John Cabot for the discovery and ownership of the New World. He's got conspiracy stuff I haven't read yet on presidential assassinations, 9/11, Iraq, etc.

At first I wondered if the whole thing was a joke poking fun at christians. Having looked through it, I think it is serious and the guy needs some serious help.

I could use this guy's logic and say the world revolves around me...I always walk in place, and the world spins beneath my feet.

Yeah, we need to stop letting the Republicans and the President make ideas and decisions made off literature that was written millions of years ago.

And... in other news, the American Public Education System has decided to close all its doors everywhere, thus raising IQ's around the nation instantly.

I would like to see one of these books that was written millions of years ago. Anyone know where I can get one? It'll be cool to see what kind of ideas I can make off it.

Jokes are a good way of avoiding the actual question.

I had a girl actually tell me that she worships Poseidon. We all laughed as if she had an actual point.

I'm sure you've heard many of the counter-arguments as well...

...in the end, I think it's easier to believe in a creator - regardless of being able to prove it 100% - than to believe in any of the other theories that are out there.

Anybody that knows anything about Texas history knows that is a lot of crap.

Texas was granted a one-year exemption from Mexico's 1829 edict outlawing slavery but Mexican president Anastasio Bustamante ordered that all slaves be freed in 1830. To circumvent the law, many Anglo colonists converted their slaves into indentured servants for life; by 1836 there were 5,000 slaves in Texas.

As a result of multiple offers by the United States to buy Texas, Bustamente outlawed the immigration of United States citizens to Texas in 1830. Several new presidios were established in the region to monitor immigration and customs practices. Angry colonists held a convention in 1832 to demand that U.S. citizens be allowed to immigrate. The following year, their Convention of 1833 proposed that Texas become a separate Mexican state. Although Mexico implemented several measures to appease the colonists, Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna's measures to transform Mexico from a federalist to a centralist state provided an excuse for the Texan colonists to revolt.

Fast forward 25 years and all of a sudden Mexico has decided to embrace the Confederacy in their secession from the United States for the exact same reason?

    Come on.

the funny thing to me about science is that just because it makes sense scientifically really doesn't prove anything. science is as man-made as religion and honestly i doubt the majority of people really understand scientific explanations.

If some scientific genius explained to me in detail how the earth is moving the way it does or that we are not the center of the universe, i really wouldn't understand anything, I'd just be taking the scientist's word because i would believe he knows 'science' better than I do.

I'm not some conspiracy weirdo or anything but i do believe in God and quite frankly the idea of an almighty being isn't any more crazy than accepting scientists theories.

    end of mini-rant.

There is nothing in the Bible that can be disproved.
