Parsons-"We feel like we're a better team and deserve to move on"

It is with much trepidation that I will say "THIS", because like virtually all of us fans, I like him as a glue guy. Parsons is a really good role player, but he should not be the reason a third star player (if this is direction Morey wants to take) is not here in a trade.

I have stated for a good part of the season that Morey should have gotten better role players to help out our stars. This team badly needed some veterans, which individually were not worth a lot, but collectively would have solidified our bench and the starting PF slot. Players like Milsap, Carol Butler and a host of other names. Guys that are dependable to come in and do their job. Instead, our main guys were forced to play too many minutes and we're worned out by the end because the bench scrubs were could not hold on to leads.

At the end, it does appear Morey did not make the moves that I thought were necessary due to cap reasons for a run at a third superstar this summer. He might be proven totally correct when we are lifting the championship trophy for the next 3 years, but this year, we were one Patrick Patterson from beating Portland. That's how close each game was. Sigh...

 

Yeah I was wrong, Parsons is a role-player nothing more. A good one though. He's worth 5-6 million.

 

Parson & Howard have the same agent, if we trade him, it may come back to haunt us when Howard's contract is up.

 

Pretty boy was blowing layups left and right while on the other end Blazers were blowing past him.

Pretty boy needs to:

1) Sack the mirror
2) Stitch his mouth shut
3) Hit the gym
4) Recover his defensive mojo

 

If we don't win a championship soon, it won't matter to Howard that Parsons is his teammate. He will chase his own dream.
