here is another issue with people. Harden needs time to mature. Mchale needs time to learn the game, but a certain pg who is only, no we can't give him another year! Trade him for some lotion. What is it? are we in win now mode or like great teams have in the past, we take our lumps and grow with each other? hey oh. " We really like each other but sometimes we play like we don't out there on the court" That was mr. handsome earlier this season.
While I agree with you, but it does worth taking into perspective that Monte Ellis score 30+ points last time on Harden and our back court last night completely neutralized him. Not saying we are better without Harden, but Harden still has some maturing to do to bring this team to another level
this and i think harden plays pretty well a lot of times for 3 quarters, but in the 4th the offense gets ugly/
I hear ya dude - he was just speaking the truth and not throwing Harden under anything. But maybe now people can jump on the 'ONE of our best players' part and say that's another jab. Parsons, you sly, handsome devil.
When it's not taken out of context it isn't bad at all. The Rockets as a team need to figure out how to stop relying on Harden to create shots for them and attack/be aggressive similar to the way they play when he isn't out there.

I think Harden is a great scorer. He doesn't make his TEAMMATES better, but on the whole the TEAM is better because he can score so well. There is a distinction there. Some guys like Bird and Magic make everyone on the team better because of their passing and team play. Right now Harden is like that. Very similar to Melo. But Harden is actually a good passer. It's just that he looks to score first.
Some of us here think highly of JH as a NBA player (become so defensive when sb critisizes him) while thinking so low of him as a person. If what CP stated is indeed a jab (more of a brush), don't think he can easily handle it himself. Talking about being dramatic and making sth out of nothing
These guys will figure it out. Harden is so good in isolation but as many young players have to learn is when to ISO and when to try to do something different. You have to pick and choose your moments. And Harden is figuring that out. Plus it's not terrible that he does all this isolation. Because he's learning. He's learning how to deal with NBA defenders one on one. All the experience is going to pay off long-run in ways you can't imagine. The team may lose a few game it could have won, but having Harden be able to handle situations with poise because he has gone through the ringer is invaluable. He will learn when to pass it off and when to take it to the hole, and when to step back for the shot. And I think the offense will look better as time goes on.
Heck yea they do... And these guys need to understand their roles. And they don't. Which is why they stand around and ball watch because they are too worried about scoring. That's why you see the good "coached" teams with dominate players _ the other players on the team don't stand around and ball watch when they are not getting the ball. And the biggest problem is they are too worried about offense and ball movement and less concerned about defense.
Harden is one of the best at creating his shot so when he is out the rockets have to be more balanced in order to win. Parsons wasn't throwing him under the bus just stating the obvious. Guys aren't cutting and setting screens and doing the little things as much as they do when Harden isn't there. Obviously there isn't as much reward for doing those things when he is playing as oppose to when he is not. If u think u are going to get the ball if u can get yourself in better position or moving more without ball then u are going to work harder
