how can you have a sophomore offensive slump when he never had a shot to begin with?

his D is still great but we need more from the 3 spot, hes lookin out of place in the starting lineup, time to experiment.. Let Mad Chicken wreak havoc with the 2nd unit

This is four games into the season? A season where he's pretty much playing with a totally different team?

    Okay

from what i see nobody is going to do well if the offense keeps running the harden ISO play and kick for last second 3pt. I also think we aren't getting respect from the refs for foul calls. Our guards thrive on aggressive play and draw contact on almost every drive.

Harden finishes very well with contact, but its bull crap he's not getting the and 1's like stars get. sorry off topic

The problem with Parsons on this team right now is that the Rox need a more consistent shooter/scorer at the 3. He's not a dependable scorer and it's bogging down the offense and the Rox are not able to open up the floor. I could see this being an issue this year even before Harden got here. The Rox really don't have any good shooters except for when Harden is on. Delfino is "streaky".

he's a good player, but he was never as good as folks on the BBS hyped him to be. I've always thought of him as an excellent role player, but not a starter. He's a glue guy. He'd fit well in a Battier-type role on a dream team like the Heat, but on a team like ours, he's probably best suited for solid minutes off the bench. He's super young so i still think there's some decent upside and room to develop.

He's actually not super young. He's 24. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is super young (19).

His shot might have some room to develop but that's about it. I just don't see what's all this hype is about. I'll continue to support Parsons as a Rocket but not going to lie, there is a hand full of 3's out there that I would take over him.

We need more firepower in the starting lineup I suggest we move Morris to the starter at the 3 and Let Parsons , T Jones , and Cole Alderich bring the nasty dunks and high intensity off the bench with Delfino being our main shooter off the bench. I would also Get Machado to run our second unit being a better facilitator than dougless.

I like this idea. I might change Cole Aldrich for Greg Smith though.

I'm just gonna say it. He's white. If you're white you better be able to shoot the rock to even have a chance. He's clumsey out there. And that is what is getting exposed here. He doesn't have the skills to be starter. He has a shot at the bench in my opinion, but little more. Hoping for the best, but don't see it. No flashes.

the way Parsons likes to follow shots at the rim, you'd think he'd be a nice fit with the attacking Harden and Lin

I don't really understand what he brings to the team. Saying someone is a "glue guy" has become another way of saying he is a person with no real basketball skills but has good character. We don't really need a glue guy with this team since neither Lin nor Harden and Asik will create any locker room problems. Chandler Parsons' defense is overrated, and his offense is almost non existent. Add the fact that Asik is a liability on offense and that Patterson is on and off, Chandler becomes a bad fit for the team. I wish we would just bring him off the bench and start Morris instead.

No harm there. It is what it is. Guys like Korver, Novak, Gordan Hayward, can fill it up and that's why they have stuck around. I really like Gordan's game btw. Parsons seems to be step behind everything out there and if athleticism or defending is why he is still manning the starting 3 spot, its a joke. Bench or replace. Same thing when folks realized Budinger wasn't going to cut it.

Parsons is a fan favorite, I get it. But lets be real here.

Seems like the benefits that come with the NBA lifestyle and being good looking has distracted him...

On an elite team, he wouldn't be playing more than 20 mpg off the bench.
