Parsons won't be part of any deals. He's this teams 3 for at least the next 5 years. Only reason I would (possibly) see them trading him would be for someone like Chris Paul.....and that's assuming we already have DH or JS on the roster.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>S/O to my man I left hanging with the fist bump. Just now seeing this,I'll get you next time at game 6!!</p>— Chandler Parsons (@ChandlerParsons) <a href="https://twitter.com/ChandlerParsons/status/329306617021616128">April 30, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
We cannot deny that Coach played Parsons heavy minutes as a rookie and has managed him perfectly to be a true leader. Parsons deserves all the credit like players should get. But anymore McHale bashing that he doesn't play rookies is just proven false 10x by the career of Parsons
That's what I take out of Parsons comment... Harden has the better defender on him a majority of the time so Parsons has to step up.
Any Captain Planet reference will get you immediate rep from me, well done sir... As an aside, did anyone ever play the Captain Planet video game on original Nintendo? Literally one of the hardest (if not the hardest) video games that has ever been invented.
Morey will get crucified if Parsons is traded..he has quitely being one of the best 2 round draft picks the Rockets have ever had...and scary to think this is only year 2... I really do think the Rockets will do Parsons right and provide the extension that he so rightly has deserved...some players just deserve it...Parsons better be on that list... We have to also realize, that Parsons is often fighting and guarding the best opposing player...there are times he wins the battle, and times he looses the battle..but he competes... Right now since the start of the year...if Harden is #1 option, then Parsons is #2, and Lin #3...
i don't think things like this need to be said ONLY by the best player on the team. to be honest i don't think they need to be said to the media at all. however, i'm very excited that he's stepping up, and hopefully speaking on behalf of the team's commitment to leave it all on the floor.
There is nothing quiet about it. Parsons is balling and if he gets any better, he will surpass Cuttino Mobley on my list of best 2nd rounder to play in a Rocket's uniform.
