Well, Dwight and Rose are elite players and Dwight is on a better team now. Lowry is in the same messed up situation that he was last year. He still needs to prove he can play alongside Rudy Gay and be efficient, Lin already proved he can play with Harden.

    Lowry's best season: 13.5 PPG 6.7 AST 42 FG%

Lin last year: 13.4 PPG 6.1 AST 44 FG% while playing off the ball...

So how is Lowry a top 80 player and Lin isn't?

So do you also believe that Darren Collison is almost as good as Lin or just as good? Collison last year: 12/5/47% shooting.

Anyway, I'm going to use a stat that Jeremy Lin fans love to use to say Lin is good, RAPM.

    From the past 2 years

    Lowry - 3.7, 3.1
    Lin - 0.4, 2.2(Linsanity era)

Oh, and I can guarantee you this above stat is 100% certified by Lin fans.

On a side note, Lowry is ranked 78, which seems fair with his injury issues. But Parsons/Asik both in the top 70. I'm surprised.

Lowry is the closest thing to a modern day Chauncey Billups. He's even got the Mr Big Shot part down. Those of us who saw that from the start and clamored for him to start over AB(who is clinging to a NBA roster) have proven to be correct.

Lin showed a lot of promise for what he did during Linsanity, and was solid last year for a new role coming off injury. He has the potential to be a very good player, and that's why Morey is paying him $25M.

But potential aside, Lin is not as good as Lowry today. Lin was not as good as Lowry yesterday. Lin wasn't even as good during the height of Linsanity. In fact, Lin wasn't even the best player on that depleted Knicks team. That team rode its defense during that run, and Tyson Chandler was the anchor. No knock on Lin, because what he did was still impressive. But Lowry was and is better.
