I'm taking my 4 year old son to his first Astros game Saturday. What's the best parking option around Minute Maid Park e.g. price, location, safety, etc?

If you get there early enough, street parking is free after 6. That's usually what I do anytime I go to Minute Maid Park. Usually Texas St. is where I get to park, but if I don't get there early enough then I try to find a spot nearby.

Used to park at a $5 lot on capital but it's been torn up for construction ...some building is going up .

Last time we parked at a 5 bucks lot at San Jacinto and Prarie.

Thank you, before we always walked as far as necessary to park for free. I figured that same strategy wouldn't work with a 4 year old.

I just parked a couple blocks away on Franklin and Chenovret for about $4 until 5pm. I'll just renew the parking via the app for the last hour at $1.50 and it'll be free after 6. Pretty good turnout for the bobblehead but if you get here around 3 you should probably still get one.
