You have a point if you consider the time before European players came to the US. That is before the period I though we were discussing. However, during that period the US sent very few players who were able to play in the NBA at the time they went to Europe. The vast majority were players who could not make the NBA. Name me a HOF quality player who played in Europe who was still anywhere near his prime.
None, not even this year. Childress and Pargo aren't even close. There are other NBA bench players that have gone to europe before these two.
It's only fair. Name me an HOF quality player that has left for Europe recently. How about a list of European HOF quality players that left Europe for the USA in their prime? Drazen Petrovic(old) Or Euro HOF quality players that left before their prime? Dirk Tony Parker Ginobili Gasol Okur Kirilenko Stojakovic
Pargo looking to return to NBA http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/81256 Pargo = trying to come back Nachbar = trying to come back Krstic = already came back Delfino = trying to come back IT'S OFFICIALLY A TREND, only people with their heads in the sand would ignore the weakening of the Euroleagues. Barn-sket Ballsky is done.
we could use all 4 of those players, the worst player on their is nachbar and he's not that bad. delfino backing up the 2,3 sounds good. krstic backing up yao, and pargo can score.
I for one LOVE Pargos game. If he takes a pay cut to come to a contender and Wafer chooses to leave it would be awesome.
It's also a trend that all of them were horrible busts and their teams were practically begging them to leave.
Plenty are suspecting Childress will come back too. He was definitely the highest profile case considering he was really the only player in his prime to defect.
