Unlike the parents that were in DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince's song!

    Are you a parent?

When the kid is small, there aren't any other choices, sometimes. Doing it in an office building is a little unnecessary. And 5 years old is kinda borderline. But if you are alone with your little kid in a mall or a place with lots of strangers around, you don't want to leave you child alone out of your sight. That would be negligent.

So that's what it feels like when your quote is taken out of context. ;)

When my son was not yet 2, I flew from Boston to Houston with him alone. I was conscious not to drink too much liquids during the trip.

These are some interesting points that DT brings up.

I've never seen a little girl in the men's room in my life. What do dad's do when they're out with their little girls?

    I concur! :D

With regards to the thread - no big deal...

Although I'd try to avoid a situation like that with my little boy.

Its don't think it is any big deal.

Kinda off topic, but kinda not...

I take my 3 year old daughter to a lot of ball games. (Rockets, Astros, Texans) and I have to take her in the Mens restrooms. WHY do people insist on pissing all over the place when they are at public sporting events? You don't know how bad it is to have to clean a spot for you kid to use the bathroom. Luckily I come prepared for such occasions... but you sloppy pissers, Piss me off.

    Blame the beer man. ;)

Most of those guys get more piss on themselves then they do in the toilet.

Wow, your three year old has enough patience to sit through a ball game? I'm impressed.

At what age did you have to buy a ticket for her?

    True

She loves the Rockets. 2 and over must have a ticket. Astros kids tickets are cheap. At 2 you want them to have their own seat anyway so they aren't sitting on your lap the whole game. :)

It ain't just public sporting events. You should check out the restroom I'm forced to use daily at work. It's gotten to the point that I never let the bottom of my shoes touch the inside of my house when I get home(I always take them off outside now).

You'd think with all the practice we've had in the art of pissing, we wouldn't get it all over the floor.

It's called "payback" for having to wipe the crap off of the childs rear during his first few years.

This story doesn't sound like that big a deal except that the kid is 5! I'm sure that 3 year olds can't be trusted outside the stall, but a five year old should be. That being said, I bet the kid was like 3 almost 4 and just looked 5.
