Hopefully this pastor will be available to vett Obama's future speeches to the nation. I'd hate for anything to get slipped in there without God's approval.

Indoctrination begins at home and the effects last a lifetime.

I'm neither naive enough to trust everything a President tells me nor paranoid enough to believe everything he says is backed by corporate interest and political agenda.

Moral absolutism, Extremism and Radical motifs never seem to lead anybody down the right path.

The guy opposes plenty of things granted to us in the Constitution. That's where it ends for me.

If I saw a President defending every word of the Constitution as Absolutes I might bust out the tin foil hat myself.

Keep in mind Obama never voted for the Patriot Act since he wasn't in Congress at the time and has said that he wants to modify some of the provisions of the Patriot Act. Granted Obama's record regarding privacy issues hasn't been great, voted for the FISA modification, but at the sametime he's been in office only about 6 months so I'm going to wait before I form a final opinion.

    What else?

Yea God forbid we live in a world where we actually have freedom, our leaders aren't power hungry tyrants, and we focus on our citizens prosperity and not fighting wars overseas. But no, let's keep electing the same ***es who do the exact same **** over and over and never figure out why it keeps happening. If that mentality is 'sane', I'm more than fine being 'insane' if that's what you're insinuating.

No one is for what you're talking about. But people interpret the Constitution differently...Courts have interpreted it differently for centuries now.

Huck Fumble Indoctrination day...I'm celebrating ***hole day. A day we can go to church, and remember that on that special day 09-06-09, will infamously mark the Sunday anniversary which the liberal and communist savior of division, hatred, and intolerance sacrificed himself so his cause can continue...The seeds of hatred, division, and intolerance will spread in a exponentially greater manner than what could be imagined. Town hall meetings, reactions to a poorly communicated speech related directive...tss. O that's nothing compared to what is to come.

We owe this in memory of Dr. Van Jones. A great former advisor who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of hate, division, and intolerance...

And just imagine, we only got to see 5 minutes of his greatness. Imagine the extent of hatred, division, and intolerance had we got to see 1 hour, a day, a week or more,....but alas that is asking for too much.

    How do we honor? WWVJD?

So you're saying that by wanting to change the invasive language of the Patriot Act that Obama is trying to take away our freedoms.

    Got it.

Boy yea he's really pulled a lot of strings to get rid of that one. As now he is an accessory to a treasonous crime. The way to fix Bush's mistakes is to use your pull your strings to get rid of them, the same way Bush used 9/11 to piss on the Constitution. He's no better than Bush otherwise, especially with all the momentum he had to really fix things.

Meanwhile torture is still alive and well, and we're still fighting two wars, one of which he promised to get us out of ASAP. If you enjoy your tax dollars being used to fund the killing of innocent women and children, personal freedom shrinking year by year, and living in a country with worse drug laws than Mexico, then support your troops and enjoy your land of the free.

I am now in favor of giving Red Chocolate's kids the option of leaving the Dining Room table when he starts speaking.

Do you enjoy being a slave/serf to a government that fights wars with other countries, kills innocents and taxes you to fund that? Then pisses off everyone else so much that they're forced to attack us and kill our innocents? I mean, either people should be outraged by our government, or this is what they really want.

    It's awesome! Don't worry, it won't ever die...Van Jones wouldn't want that.

You do know we have a court system than anyone can use, right? If the Patriot Act violates the Constitution, you can file a lawsuit to get it declared void. The Constitution even sets up the process for doing that.

    Why haven't you done so?
