Obama didn't commute or Pardon someone who was a kingpin. There was NO one in this woman's level that Obama pardoned. LOL. 6600 lb coke is not sold in Memphis alone. She was a distributor. Terrorist and Traitor? Chelsea Manning? Please.....she went to prison and commuted her sentence (35 years was excessive for that type of crime). Oscar Lopez Rivera? He served 36 years and was the last member of the group still in prison (out of 55 year sentence). Commuted. Bill Clinton offered clemency, which was rejected.

    http://www.politifact.com/punditfac...ama-pardon-terrorist-and-traitor-katie-pavli/

    Stop watching Faux News.

Both of those went thru the NORMAL Justice Dept. process. They didn't have a Kardashian bat their eyes.......and snap......commuted sentence. Remember....this woman was passed over THREE TIMES by Obama. That says ALOT. Obama pardon or commuted sentences of many black and hispanic convicts with drug convictions.

Bradley Manning is a traitor and served only 7 years of his well deserved 35 year sentence.

Oscar Lopez Rivera is an unrepentant terrorist who is responsible for multiple murders and you think he deserves to be freed?

I know that you are incapable of thinking for yourself and that you will naturally just see anything your boy Obama did as good and anything Trump does as bad, but that's just not the case here.

You keep calling this woman a "kingpin" despite the fact that she was nothing more than the leader of a mule operation, she helped organize shipments of cocaine from Houston to Memphis, it wasn't her cocaine and she didn't sell it when it got where it was going. Just because your boy said no to her doesn't mean that she's undeserving of a commuted sentence after serving over 2 decades in prison for something nowhere near as bad as those Obama set free.

It's just unfortunate that foolish people such as yourself feel that you have to embarrass yourself like this because I know for a fact if it had been Obama to set her free, you'd be praising the move. I'm not sure there's anything that can help someone as far gone as yourself, but I do hope you at least attempt to seek help.

After a bit more time and learning more about this situation, I am sort of changing my tune a bit.

Don’t get me wrong, second to the Jack Johnson pardon, this one is still the second most appropriate use of the pardon/commute power, but this one will dangerously bite Trump in the a$$ in the future. It totally undermines his anti drug/drug dealer political message for one. If he ever gets debated on the topic again (unlikely as he never is asked really interviewed anymore and prob won’t make it to the 2020 debates) this will be used against that message.

So it seems to me, that Trumps ego is just so self absorbed that any celeb will be able to get anything they want from him and his power. Just as long as they give him a photo opp.

LOL. The Justice Dept. didn’t (Eric Holder AND Loretta Lynch’s Justice Department) didnt think she was just leader of a Mule operation. She was a Kingpin of a distribution network. Doesn’t matter if it wasn’t her cocaine. It is not FedEx or UPS’ packages that are being delivered, but they are “the kingpins” in package delivery that make companies like Amazon billions of dollars.

Trumper like you wont admit your dumbass President is a child...influenced by shiny things ( Kardashian, a marble, a prize he will never get) and is all about how himself.

BTW... It was the Money Laundering that you should look at. A simple mule is not laundering money.

What were the circumstances of her case? Was she charged with more than possession and intent? Gang activity, etc?

Anyway, it would be nice to free up some room in the prisons -- to house illegal immigrants prior to their evictions.

Crossed my mind, but I didn't say it because of the respect I have for the office that Kim Kardashian holds.

Anyway, I knew a knuckle dragger such as yourself was incapable of viewing things beyond the very basic "if Obama did it then it is good, if Obama didn't do it and Trump did it then it is bad", but I thought I'd give you a little bit of room to prove that you aren't better than that and you didn't disappoint.

By all means, keep defending traitors and terrorists while trying to paint someone who ran a drug mule operation as if she was Pablo Escobar.

Im not defending anything Obama did. The point is Obama followed Justice Dept. procedures.....Trump followed a Kardashian.
Until you say you were WRONG about Watson's lack of exit velocity an indicator of success, you don't get any but contempt from me. Well, with your defending of Trump and white Nationalist.......that is all you will get.

Yeah you are. Earlier you were making excuses for setting a terrorist and a traitor free while trying to spin a drug mule as if she was Pablo Escobar simply because the Obama administration decided not to commute her sentence. You are constantly on your knees blowing Obama, you just can't help yourself. It would be great if one of these days you'd stand up and wipe your chin, but you just don't have it in you.

Also, did you just bring up the Texans' QB in this conversation? LOL WTF? You do know that my concerns about him were proven valid right? He for the most part overcame them, but he continued to throw picks related to the same poor mechanics that caused his weak exit velocity all season long. He deserves credit for how much progress he made in nearly eliminating that problem, but you can't pretend like it wasn't a problem.....well, I mean YOU can because you don't know any better and because you have a bad view of the situation from your knees, but people who know what they are talking about can't dismiss the legitimate issues he's worked hard to try and overcome.

I do find it funny that you think that I, or anyone really, would value your opinion enough to where your alleged "contempt" would be something that matters. It's like you don't realize how much of a joke you are. "Contempt" coming from a trick on their knees isn't something to be taken seriously.

SMH, I just spelled out for you why my concerns were proven correct and you still come with this weak BS? Also, it's hilarious to me that you are now whining about what proved to be legitimate concerns that people had about the Texans QB coming out of college in the D&D.

Oh well, it seems you never tire of embarrassing yourself. In all honestly though, you have to tell me if you are legitimately mentally handicapped or have some kind of learning disability, I only feel okay laughing at you this much if there's no excuse for your behavior. If there's some kind of other reason for it, let me know and I'll react to your ridiculous nonsense in a more compassionate manner.

You may think I'm joking about that, but I'm not, I'm 100% serious. Let me know.

All jokes aside — this lady was a drug kingpin of her own making. Not a good pardon.

If this is Trump’s aim for the war on drugs, then his sight is way off the target.

well, this probably deserves its own thread

Kim Kardashian Just Served Lebron James By Working With President Trump
Star athletes pushing an agenda for social justice are failing by doing little (if not nothing) to bring results to the communities about which they supposedly care.

    By M. Adrian Norman
    June 7, 2018
Never in a million years did I think I would write the following sentence: Kim Kardashian West has helped secure a commuted sentence for Alice Johnson after meeting with President Donald Trump to lobby for prison reform.

Johnson was serving a life sentence for a first-time, nonviolent drug offense, and now has a second chance at life. West met with President Trump last week in an effort to enact prison reform. Securing a commuted sentence for Johnson was part of their discussion.

After it was announced that West was meeting with the president, much of the commentary on both Right and Left centered on “celebrity worship” and whether it was appropriate for the president to spend his time meeting with West. The real conversation, however, was about an American meeting with the pinnacle of American leadership in an attempt to bring about positive change for our nation. As evidenced Wednesday, in the Trump administration change happens swiftly.

I hope other celebrities, namely athletes like protesting football players and basketball star Lebron James, pay very close attention here, because Kardashian just secured a political victory that should embarrass them into either silence or action.

    Nah.

Lebron would need a boob job to get a meeting w the groper in chief, and you know this.

This too: The federalist has a long sad tradition of finding new ways of saying "they need to quit being so uppity."

Not good! as Two Scoops would say.

What reform has resulted from these meetings (a presidential pardon is not reform), and why should such “positive change” require a visit from a celebrities for Trump to enact it? This article is truly a head scratcher.
