We were all kids once, We should know that this solution you come up with is weak sauce. I'm sorry I've done worse. Been expelled from my sophomore year. Dad turned any area of my skin normally clothed black and blue. I guarantee you I never did what I did again. Those apology and detention (and missing activity, hahah) is just weak. I dont know how many times I've been there done that and after my sentence was carried out I was thinking of how I can do it again without being caught only to know detention would be a breeze.
Hell yah, screw those rotten little bastards... Kids need to learn some damn respect and the only way to do that now with this generation is beat dat ass!!
Yea kids today need to learn about respect. If my child did something like that her ass would be sore for days.
I just don't like this trend of kids being able to get away with anything and everything they do because they're "INNOCENT KIDS!" (cue Rev. Lovejoy's wife). I don't know about you, but when I was 10, kids acted like turds KNOWING they were acting like turds. Like I said, the guy deserved to be fired. I wouldn't even have a problem putting him on probation or having him serve a REASONABLE jail sentence (3-6 months). But 2 YEARS?? That's preposterous! The kid learned nothing from this except that if he pushes someone far enough, that person with get in a LOT of trouble before the kid will.
I totally agree. I'd beat that ass bad too. And I do that to my son often enough when he acts up. That's how I grew up and that's how I teach my son. But hell no would I want someone else to do that to my kid. Smash a cup in his face? Are you seriously defending that? Edit: Did anyone else NOT know what a paraprofessional was... so when they read paraprofessional assault it sounded like some SWAT team thing?
No I'm not defending that guy he could have handled it better than smashing the cup in the kid face. I just don't feel sorry for the kid because he wasn't seriously hurt. I think the guy should have told his parents or hell even picked up the beans and threw them back at the kid.
