Honestly I care little for Papa John's. This is a business that adds very little to our economy. It hands out a bunch of minimum wage jobs in order to suck money out of the middle class by giving them essentially over priced junk food. It adds little value to our country, and yet it is this business crying the most.

You don't see great American companies that add value playing this stupid game. You see people who are right-wing stooges crying the most. Papa Johns is going to get served hard when they leave a bitter taste in good Americans mouth by hurting people just because they lost an election.

    Sore losers.

It's an ass move but the systems allows it. Likewise, capitalism also allows competition to knock these guys out. That's why I find the threat from owners that they'll cut jobs if taxes get higher on them laughable. Try it. Your business' performance will drop and somebody'll just take your place.

Higher prices? When companies pass the costs along to consumers, they do so by raising prices. If those companies provide component parts to other companies that build goods, then they raise prices to cover their component part price increase and the cost of their company's costs.

Higher taxes? The CBO revised their estimate and have said that Obamacare will cost two trillion dollars over the first 10 years. You don't get two hundred billion a year and keep the deficit from growing without raising taxes on everybody.

In order to boycott these places, don't you have to eat there first?

Funny how they are all fast food type restaurants who pay the worst.

They are also large companies that will be expected by some to bear the costs of the health care law. They also have a customer base that is very sensitive to price increases.

If they increase their prices to pay for the health care costs, who really bears those costs? The rich? Probably not eating much fast food. It would be the poor and the middle class who will bear those costs.

Only if those people voluntarily choose to do so. No one forces them to eat at a particular fast food place.

Be very very careful in referencing the butt to BigTessy.

Less we all forget the "anal raping" he wanted to give me.

Olive Garden (Darden) relies on essentially slave labor. It's no wonder they are the darlings of trailer-trash like Bigtexx. But please don't take it out on the help- if you end up there, tip your waitstaff generously, and in cash, not on the CC.
