    The legitimate concern with Banchero is that you get a guy whose ceiling is a max contract player... but a player that just barely qualifies for a max contract. The most valuable asset in the league is an elite superstar on a max contract... because that player is severely underpaid (peak Lebron, Durant, peak Harden, Steph, etc). Banchero never gets to that level... which means at some point he's a good player... but an expensive player without any excess value. Much like Harrison Barnes.

    I'm sorry, but Barnes is a horrible comp. Even if Banchero were similar from a scoring and defensive standpoint (which admittedly would be a disappointment), Banchero is an infinitely better playmaker and rebounder than Barnes and has so many more ways to contribute in the league than Barnes does. Banchero's size, handles and playmaking alone make him a prospect with a floor higher than Barnes' ceiling. Just stop, OP.

    mavin bagley, a bust.

    all of coach k players have an m.o. from JJ Reddick to Elton Brand, Carlos Boozer, Shane Battier, Christian Laettner, Bobby Hurley, Sheldon Williams, Luol Deng, RJ Barrett.

    Out of all of coach ks player only a few have become superstars: Kyrie (although I think he is the worst superstar in the history of them), hill: maybe Zion gets there, but who else?
    You Should draft Coach K players in the mid to late first round and never draft them this high not for this guy.
    Hell I would’ve preferred Marvin Bagley to this guy even after I know who Marvin Bagley is.

    And Cherokee Parks and Trajan Langdon, lol.
    I’m not saying he is overrated, but his players fit his style and that style seems to peak in college.

    One of the reasons why the greatest player in the last 15 years fell to the number seven pick in the draft was because nobody regards Davidson as a school even though Steph Curry was shooting lights out for like three years.

    That is my immediate impression of him. He has good size and can play some basketball no doubt, but I just think he is a bland player that doesn’t really scream star.
    I seriously don’t see why he is above Ivey.
    I don’t know, but the player I like the most is Dyson Daniels so we will see.

    Gary Trent Jr
    Jason Tatum
    Brandon Ingram
    Zion Williamson
    6th man - Tyus Jones, RJ Barrett, or Seth Curry

    Zion played a half of a season in 2 years, Kyrie is a nut, Tatum panned out, forgot about him.
    All the others you don’t draft with the second or 3rd pick in the draft.

    You can't blame Coach K and Duke for Zion eating too much and Kyrie having strong opinions. When we talk about straight production from just this past season...

    Irving (27ppg, 6 apg)
    Trent Jr (18ppg, 2 apg)
    Barrett (20ppg, 6 rpg)
    Tatum (27ppg, 8 rpg)
    Ingram (23ppg, 6 apg)
    Curry (42% from three)
    Jones (39% from three)
    I won't even count the crazy rookie year Zion had before he got hurt and ate too much.

    Name a school that has a better group in the NBA right now.

    Barnes is a decent role player. If Bsnchero does end up the next Barnes it's not the end of the world.

    However I doubt Bsnchero becomes the next Barnes cuz Banchero has a high bball IQ and has passing ability whereas Barnes is strictly a 3nD.
