I think we will have at least 3 picks in next year draft after we trade Gordon. I think we will have a top three picks and it will be either Chet, Banchero or Durant. Then we will combine the two other draft picks to get a PG

I think he is not athletic as KD but he has nice feet. I seen alot of videos on him in High School last year and he is not scared of contact. One game the other team tried to intimidate him but he kept going to the basket, they kept knocking him down, pushing him but he is tough. He and Wood can play together, great offense tandem and he will block shots. Chet is much better than Mobley on the offense side but Mobley tops him on defense. Having Porter, Green, Martin, Wood and Chet would be a nice starting 5.

Have you notice Banchero does not have much lift, he is a big guy and he is not a leaper

I think it would be matchup dependent

He’s probably more athletic than KD, that’s the enticing part

He has at least a 40-inch vertical. He can jump. I don't know how effective it is in-game, but... it's there.

No he doesn’t, vertical jump isn’t a strong point for him.
He’s a good athlete, not an elite one.

Easiest position to fill via FA or Trade

If he tested at Duke combine have to take it with a grain of salt. If that kind of vertical shows up in game play, he needs to be the pick.

You should tell Duke Basketball that, then :

That's what I was saying. There's a difference between loading up in a jump test vs. actively using it in a basketball situation. I don't know how much he uses his vertical in-game. There are a lot of dudes with pretty good verticals that you wouldn't think had them because they never really use it in-game. I'm more enamored with his passing, dribbling, ability to hit a jumper, etc. at that size.

Man, i need to look into the rest of his testing. Would like to see some agility tests.
The 40 inch vert seems crazy, he doesn’t look super explosive but that test says different.
That’s Lebron type body and vertical. Speed and agility to be seen.

I heard there wont be a guard in the top five next year. We're screwed lol. Though we could try to run Christoper at pg. KPJ at 3, trade wood and run KMJ and Sengun as our bigs.

RANK PLAYER, SCHOOL/TEAM POS. DRAFT DAY AGE HT. WING.
    1 | Paolo Banchero, Duke | F | 19 | 6-10 | 7-1
    2 | Chet Holmgren, Gonzaga | C | 20 | 7-0 | 7-5

    • Paolo Banchero and Chet Holmgren are in a tier to themselves to start the year. I have them as essentially 1A and 1B in the class, although I don’t see either right now as what I’d consider a typical No. 1 overall pick in a normal draft class.
