That's not correct. You're thinking of 2024. This year is already toast, but hopefully lands us in the top five at least. I don't see any reason why the following year will be much different. Then (fingers crossed) hopefully we begin to turn this franchise around in 2024 when OKC owns our pick.
Not a cap expert or the GM future picks type, but based on what I see here I believe we have the 2023 pick? I may be wrong though as I don't focus as much on those areas at the moment. https://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed 2022 first round draft pick(s) from Brooklyn and/or Miami (swap, Houston outgoing to Miami) Houston will receive the two most favorable of its 2022 1st round pick, Brooklyn's 2022 1st round pick and Miami's 2022 1st round pick protected for selections 1-14 and Miami will receive the least favorable of the three (via Houston's right to swap Houston or Brooklyn for Miami); if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyable, then Houston will instead receive its pick and the Brooklyn pick and the less favorable of Denver's 2022 2nd round pick and Philadelphia's 2022 2nd round pick (via Miami) [Brooklyn-Cleveland-Houston-Indiana, 1/16/2021; Houston-Miami, 3/25/2021] 2023 first round draft pick from Brooklyn (swap, Houston outgoing) Houston has the right to swap its 2023 1st round pick for Brooklyn's 2023 1st round pick [Brooklyn-Cleveland-Houston-Indiana, 1/16/2021] 2023 first round draft pick from Milwaukee Milwaukee's 2023 1st round pick to Houston [Houston-Milwaukee, 3/19/2021] Spoiler 2024 first round draft pick from Brooklyn Brooklyn's 2024 1st round pick to Houston [Brooklyn-Cleveland-Houston-Indiana, 1/16/2021] 2024 second round draft pick from Brooklyn Brooklyn's 2024 2nd round pick to Houston [Brooklyn-Houston, 10/6/2021] 2024 second round draft pick from Golden State Golden State's 2024 2nd round pick to Houston (via Atlanta) protected for selections 56-60 or to Cleveland (via Atlanta to Houston) protected for selections 31-55 (Golden State's obligation to Houston or Cleveland will thereafter be extinguished) [Atlanta-Golden State, 6/20/2019; Atlanta-Denver-Houston-Minnesota, 2/5/2020; Cleveland-Houston, 1/22/2021] 2025 first round draft pick from Oklahoma City or Brooklyn (swap, Houston outgoing to Oklahoma City or Brooklyn) Oklahoma City has the right to swap its 2025 1st round pick for Houston's 2025 1st round pick protected for selections 1-10 or the L.A. The weight isn’t even really a factor and UCLA is trying to attack him. Chet’s length just bothers shots over and over and over. He’s discipline enough to use his length without fouling and picking up ticky tack fouls
Length, movement and body control is really impressive on defense. BBIQ is looking off the charts too. They haven't even asked him to do much on offense so far this year. BTW: Cincy-Arky is fun, no idea if any of these guys are NBA prospects but who cares if the game is good
Your 3rd rotation big needs to be a 6'11" low post D & Rebound machine, but that shouldn't be hard to find. I'm all in on this plan.
Did he go block-rebound-up court-behind back-drive-lane-dunk? I think that's what I've seen after several viewings. Not sure about the block, he sure as hell altered that shot.
Now do you guys see why everyone was saying that no one in that last draft is at Chet's level? S P E C I A L
