I'm having flashbacks to my grade school years when we were always between .440 and .540. Oh wait, we're now at .365--yikes. Where have you gone Cesar Cedeno? 'Stros Nation turns its lonely eyes to you. Woo, woo, woo.
God bless you, please, Larry Ray Heaven holds a place for those who pray. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon Going to the new manager candidates debate Laugh about it, shout about it When you've got to choose Every way you look at this, tomorrow the Stros will lose
Not a big baseball fan but keep hear they getting swepts and wondered what was happening how did they fall off so quickly Rocket River
Injuries to the pitchers coupled with healthy players playing like ****. Definitely not a recipe for success. 1. Inability to prevent runs from scoring 1a: Starters are struggling to get though 5 innings 1b: Our predicted "lights out" bullpen has been a total ****ing disaster 1c: Middle relief is being manned by minor league castoffs 2. Inability to score runs 2a: hitting with RISP is a joke of ludicrous proportions, basically everyone not named Dubon/Tucker/Pena sucks total ass so far 2b: jinky batting orders, Bregman has no business hitting anywhere higher than 6th, yet he's been 2/3/4 all season There's more, but this is making my brain hurt
I think if the Astros work hard enough we can beat the 3-22 start of White Sox. We just have to suck even harder but it’s doable.
The context matters. When we were 6.5 games out in June the Astros weren't sucking ass, but the **** faces from dallas were on fire. Big difference between that and playing like absolute garbage. All that said, very happy with a couple of dubs at 7500 feet this weekend. Hopefully it sparks them.
https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/playoff-odds Even though theyre obviously not as good of odds as we had to start the season, but stats guys are not writing the Stros off at all. They even have us finishing ahead of Arlington still.
