But wait, WHO was it that outed the daughter in the first place? That's right...McCain/Palin outed this poor young woman to answer an little publicized internet rumor for their own benefit. They could have just provided birth certificate records to say it was the mom's baby to squash the internet rumors without even mentioning the daughter's pregnancy and sent the child home for the campaign. It would have only come out then AFTER the campaign. So the McCain campaign are the ones using the child's pregnancy as political sympathy fodder.

The problem is not what that girl does in her personal life, it is her mother's JUDGMENT to not know that she would be subjected to this type of scrutiny if she ran for VP. I really doubt there would be this kind of outrage if this was about a 17 year old Paris Hilton or Brittany Spears, etc. The same people that are having a fit about it right now probably indulged in all the gossip about those girls when they were underage. Nevertheless, I still DON"T think it is about the daughter. It is about her mother and McCain and their lack of judgment and inability to protect this girl from all of this scrutiny. I'm just curious in what it takes exactly for a banning. I'm undecided as to whom i'm voting for at the moment. I like to visit the D&D to try to just find some info on the candidates and such, trying to be informed. There have been a lot of posts, from both republicans and democrats on this board, where i'm just going wtf. Obviously more so than others, but i've almost come to the conclusion that anything can be posted/said in the D&D. I dont want people to be banned, but I think the quality of the D&D has gone down dramatically. It has become a pissing match between people. Jeff has even posted warning TJ, I dont see how that should even be the case. Clearly people are gonna disagree, but people arent doing it in a civil manner.

I thought the platform for Dem/Lib women were to empower them, women's rights, the ability to have a career and not be stuck at home, Equal opportunity to hold positions that men have. She's not fit to be VP. Meanwhile, she is governor of a state that had to learn how to budget Billions of dollars in Energy, Infrastructure, Education, etc. for Alaska. What kind of budget did Obama balance?
