What answer did she give that was complex or insightful enough to require an earpiece?

There were no followup questions requiring thought.

She was using notecards with like 8-10 stock speeches, if the question related to pakistan she gave her stock pakistan speech, iran gave stock iran speech, if she didn't know or ran out of notecards she gave her stock maverick or stock energy speech. It wasn't that hard. Definitly didn't require an earpiece.

Where did I call someone an idiot, stupid, moron, a joke or any number of uncalled comments - attacking someone personally..................definitely not in your example. That was a direct response to how ludicrous I thought the whole ear piece notion was.........

All I was saying is no problem going back and forth with D&D, but when people continue to go down the road with the immature name calling it tells me more about their character then it does about the point they are trying to get across. Hey I use to hold him in high regard, and recently that has taken a 180 degree shift...........

    But, I digress..............

That's probably the best point there is to make.

If she had an earpiece, why didn't she coherently answer any of the questions?

You do not understand do you? I think Palin is possibly the most dangerous type of politician there is.....one that acts before thinking based upon a set of conditions of her morality.

She is another Dick Cheney....who along with Dubya have been two of the most dangerous people ever to serve as VP and P.....

This country means too much to simply sit idly by and let another set of people not qualified to lead our country into the whitehouse.

Palin is HORRIBLE for this country.....a dumb country bumpkin who thinks she knows better.

Besides her earpiece or lackthereof, what was with all that winking she was doing? That was terrible and made me feel like she was blowing a bunch of smoke up everyone's ass. Also, when she reverted to her down home Alaska/Fargo twang accent, I just cringed the whole time. I was just thinking this can't be happening. lol

    Truly

If I were republican, I would be insulted that my party was trying to fob off this intellectual lightweight on us.

soft p*rn for the hard core --

    NRO's Rich Lowry

I’m sure I’m not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, “Hey, I think she just winked at me.” And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America.

It helped here connect with the segment of the audience that wants to jump her bone.

Rich Lowry of the National Review:
"A very wise TV executive once told me that the key to TV is projecting through the screen. It's one of the keys to the success of, say, a Bill O'Reilly, who comes through the screen and grabs you by the throat. Palin too projects through the screen like crazy. I'm sure I'm not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, "Hey, I think she just winked at me." And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America."

More and more you have to ask yourself, is Tina Fey impersonating Palin, or is Palin copying Tina Fey's caricature?

I don't know why everyone is complaining about this so much. Obama's camp place a cattle prod in Biden's ass and you don't hear Mccain complaining about it.

If you don't believe me replay the debate. Everytime Biden said something stupid Obama remotely gave him a jolt. Really watch it again and you will see him jump towards the podium. It's actually kind of funny. You may not believe it but I know this is true because I have a friend he handles all the networking for Obama's camp and he said they have been working on this since the stupid FDR remark
