"He's not Bush, He's for Change, as a socialist as the next guy. I honestly don't think either candidate is that great but I see the far reaching implications of his ideology, even if it is just the beginning of a shift in this country. Look at Europe, is that what you want to look like in 20 years. Those countries were the leaders of the World until this type of ideology slowly crept in to each one of their mindsets.

I get your tongue and cheek and that is exactly the type of "sweep it off my shoulder" sarcasm I expect. You look at conservatives as closed minded fools. The reality is that we don't all think in the same box, we don't all hate blacks (the second most influential women in my life is black), we don't all hate Gays, and despite implications of the dissemination of Muslims (look at Spain and England), they have just as much a right to this country as I do. What you sweep under the rug with these generalizations is an all or nothing sentiment that would support a mule if it was for abortions, gay marriage, and food stamps. There are other things at stake.
Look, I am pretty much resolved to the idea that we are in a downward spiral. Once, generation Y gets to the power ages (40 to 50) we are screwed, talk about sheep being herded. I guess the best I can hope for is that future Ron Paulians act as a level to the insanity and maybe everyone ends up like me.

Give me a candidate with the conviction of a JC Watts or Allen Keyes and he would have my vote. Redistribution of wealth is a socialist idea and government run, assisted, aided, whatever you want to call it is too. To make myself clear, what I referred to above was that there are people voting for him because he is black and in their minds everything else is inconsequential. If you deny this you are naive.
