This would be a brilliant move by the McCain campaign to have her do this right before the election -- this is of course assuming she is funny and does well. McCain, Hillary, Obama have all helped themselves by appearing on the show -- it wouldn't be any different for Palin.
Being on the show now is the perfect time for her because now they can't nail her for the "palin' around with terrorists" and bringing up Wright and saying it hasn't been talked about enough as if the story wasn't on the news day after day for like a month. Also, the finding that she did abuse her power.
Wait a minute. 1) I thought you watched the sketch with no sound on and thought it was sexist? 2) New material? They're making fun of your "material" you dingbat! Link
you know, here I was trying to come up with some witty response, something along the lines of "I'd do Sarah Palin Saturday Night, Live"
Oh...I almost forgot...since you believe that Obama wrapped the whole thing up in April (or was it May), the only question is how many EVs Obama will get. Honestly, at this point, I am shocked that you haven't started an thread predicting that Obama will pitch an electoral shutout. Geez...you have always been very reasonable...until just the last few months...on this one issue.
I've explained why I feel this way, every step of the way. Nobody has ever even tried to refute my points except to say, "No, you're wrong. It will be close." I said all along why I thought it wouldn't be close. And I asked people to say why they thought it would be. But nobody ever did. They just kept insisting it would be... because... well, just because... I never predicted a shutout. I predicted a landslide. And I was ridiculed for it. People said I was crazy. Now a landslide is the conventional wisdom. If you think I'm being unreasonable, you have to say how. 'Because I just feel that way' isn't a reason. My arguments have been based in math all along. Those who don't agree have decided to ignore that. Those who don't agree refused to even consider math. That's fine. Ignore it. It's still math. And my predictions about the margins are no longer radical; they're conservative. They're the same ones I've been making since June, but they're now less confident than the current math. On the popular vote they're considerably more conservative than the current math; on the electoral vote they're exactly in line with the current math if you count leaners. So if you think I'm being unreasonable, that's fine. But in order to have a case you have to make the case.
They flashed it real big across the bottom of the screen with a "BREAKING NEWS" title and Larry even interrupted his interview with Bill Mahr to mention that she would appear on the show.
I can't stand her as a politician but she is a full-fledged MILF. I think Marky Mark busted one in his pants.
Thought she did good. Nice cameo by Wahlberg and Baldwin. Obama supporters saying she sucked in 3...2...1
Well, the timing was off by everybody. Lorne Michaels has always been a little flat and I don't think Baldwin did that well either.
