better and better -- Sarah Palin's 'Bigger Blunder' At Tea Party Convention Was On The Wrist, Not The Hand It appears that Sarah Palin may have committed an even bigger faux-pas than simply reading from "crib notes" on her hand during her appearance at the National Tea Party Convention over the weekend. The former Alaska governor wore a black bracelet with the name of her oldest son, Track Palin, who served in Iraq in 2008. Only problem is bracelets of this nature are traditionally reserved to commemorate those who have died in military service. Track is still alive. In a guest article in Wednesday's Yale Daily News, Eric Robinson, a first-year Yale graduate student in international relations and a veteran of both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, pointed out why Palin's choice of bracelet was particularly troubling:
yes that me a poor choice to wear that type of bracelet but I really think all this is no news. It's just like how when Obama bowed or shook hands or gave the queen a Ipod shouldnt be NEWS or criticized. these are just people with an ax to grind and will find any tiny piece of information to start a dispute or controversy. It's not a big deal either way.
and the author issued an apology. would be nice to see palin do the same for all the garbage lies she's spewed.
if you're pro-Obama, then doesn't this graph hurt your case? it's number of jobs lost. meaning if it's a positive number, then that's how many jobs were lost. and if it's a negative number, then that's how many jobs were... gained? i'm not trying to argue a point; the graph is just confusing.
Yeah basically it just shows the decreasing rate of jobs being lost from month to month. So is this saying the only month jobs were created was November '09? Is jobs lost a net number?
Not confusing at all: since he's taken office, there have been fewer and fewer jobs lost, trending upwards almost every month. While any job lost is, of course, a negative, the overall job outlook has been improving since Obama took office. So, "hopey changey" (how ridiculously condescending that phrase is. I can't believe someone with hopes for the Presidency would say something like that) is working, despite what the Tea Baggers would have you think.
She be slippin': People opening their eyes or just getting tired of her? Who knows, but I'm glad her numbers are going down and restoring my faith that Americans aren't stupid in the majority.
