You have to wonder what is really going on when using a teleprompter is the best line of attack people have on Obama. The teleprompter which is used by anybody who can get one when giving a speech is a normal thing. Before that it was typed up speech on paper. Before that it was a handwritten speech on paper. This is where we are right now, calling Obama incompetent or stupid for using the same thing as EVERYBODY WHO GIVES MAJOR SPEECHES And the blatant ignoring of hypocrisy. Sarah Palin wants one man to quit for using the word r****d, defends another because he's a "satirist", yet still went after David Letterman. She calls out Obama for using a teleprompter while probably reading her speech off of one and then uses notes from her hand to answer questions she was given in advance. She lectures Obama for "lecturing." PDS....Palin Defender Syndrome...sounds about right. You knuckleheads can't possibly be this behind her. You expect me to believe that there isn't a Republican out there you would prefer to be President? This whole thing is a farce. It has to be.
Again why is everyone attacking Palin for something so trivial? We dont know the context of the story so I dont think it's fair to go blasting her and calling her an idiot. (I am no fan of Palin but let's not resort to name calling.) You may not agree with her politics or views but calling her an idiot isnt fair cause i highly doubt she is a idiot in real life. It's just like I don't agree with most of Obama's decisions but I am not going to go call him an idiot. In fact I think he is probably a pretty smart guy. Also I always thought the use of the teleprompter was overblown. I think people are saying he uses it excessively in every single speech no matter how big or how small. But then again I dont see the big deal in it.
I don't want to start another Palin Thread, but what's despicable is this woman said that Obama would start a war with Iran to boost his popularity before the 2012 election when she was asked if she wanted to be a candidate.
I love it how you try to come off as level headed and fair and then you go ahead and do the exact same thing you were blasting basso for. Like I stated in my other post I highly doubt Palin is an idiot. Do you really know Palin outside her appearances on TV? Her appeal was she was like the everyday soccer mom that wasnt corrupted by politics (for the record I dont believe that, you cant get to where she's at not playing those dirty political games and she's really milking the spotlight now and making millions) So I think she's a lot smarter than you think. SHe's making millions and you are on this message board probably paying off your mortgage or paying your rent and she's there making millions for one short 30 min appearance. Hmmm sure sounds like an idiot to me. So she's not as a eloquent speaker as Obama. Does that make her an idiot? NO. I think people equate someone who can speak well as being smarter. Remember the whole angle the media tried to portray on John Kerry as the high IQ man and Bush as the idiot? Well Kerry had lower grades in high school, college and his SATs than Bush. You can call Obama an idiot. I might call it hate because you don't have any real examples of Obama being an idiot. The same isn't true of Sarah Palin. There are plenty of examples of Sarah Palin's idiocy, and they are absolutely hilarious. I don't hate her. I hope she stays around and keeps providing examples of her idiocy for all of us to have a good time laughing at. It's great for her to stick around be herself. I just hope more people are able to enjoy her being an idiot, and fewer people make the mistake of taking her seriously like the poor folks who believed her when she claimed the health care reform bill really had anything to do with government actually running health care, or having death panels, or any of the other things she's made up or lied about. I've accused basso of lots of things, so I'm not sure which you are referring to when you talk about me doing the same thing. I do remember Kerry's grades being slightly lower than Bush's. However there is no such incident regarding Obama and Palin. You can highly doubt Palin is an idiot of you would like to. But I urge you to go back and watch the Couric interview, or the Charlie Rose interview. Or if you are feel that Katy Couric was being too mean and unfair to Palin by asking what she read, then look at Palin's own speech where she claimed that the President had a department of law and even gave this supposed Department of Law a function. That was from her own speech, and it was absolutely hilarious, and prime example of her acting like an idiot. I wouldn't attack her for being an idiot if she didn't try and come off like she actually knew what she was talking about. The Department of law is a perfect example. Anyway as long as she present herself as some type of qualified expert and demonstrates the opposite, I will laugh at her and enjoy her antics. I hope she keeps it up. I'm serious. I really do.
