I blame you. When I started posting on this board, every post from you was signed, "Keep D&D Civil!" As it turns out, that was the only thing keeping the forum out of the ditches. We need to get back some civility in our poo-flinging.
You know, that's similar to what I use to say back in my NY'er days. I hate how everyone thinks just because I was being an a-hole and messing with people means I am some sort of a-hole. I was just having fun with the medium. So i follow ya. But at the same time, you might wanna realize you are also coming across as a big dick. So long as you're ok with that...hey - go for it.
Wait...i mean.... I was being an a-hole and mesing with people means I am some sort of "unhappy" a-hole.
I've been thinking of using one of these: Keeps the hands cleaner, increases velocity, increases accuracy (after practice), minimizing unintended poo casualties.
lol@thread. Does this really need to be in D&D? Seems more appropriate in the hangout. (I admit I took guilty pleasure, reading-TMZ-type-guilty pleasure in watching the vid linked in the OP)
I used that r word to describe a play called by a certain team. My gf heard me and gave me a lecture on how it was wrong. That was my experience with the r word.
sorry, but this is some revisionist history going on here... no one thought you were an a-hole or that when you were 'messing' w/ people that it was effective. the issue was that you admitted that you took positions you didnt necessarily agree w/ just to 'stir the pot'. that calls into question everything you say on here - why should anyone try to engage in any meaningful debate or discussion w/ someone like that - you never know who you are really talking to - its your right to post like that, but imo its a dishonest style. this all came to fruition in the infamous thread about george allen calling an indian kid 'macaca', which is essentially the european version of the n-word. despite ample evidence that allen knew exactly what he was saying you continued to staunchly defend him even going so far as to claim that b/c you were indian and it didnt bother you that it isnt offensive. when called out on that you said you werent indian and that it was all a big 'experiment' about political correctness or something then when called out again you said that in fact, you actually were an indian, but were just conducting more 'experiments' on race and p.c.-ness. that was one of the weakest things anyone has ever done on here, but i never thought you were an a-hole for it - just dishonest (in that instance, at least )
that wasn't what I was referring to. but yeah, i was experimenting kinda. I was just messing around and trying to get a rise out of people by taking inflammatory positions. Anyway, no reason to rehash the past. Think what you want!
its all good baby. just dont go around acting like you were unjustly vilified or trying to play the victim card wrt your former persona.
Not sure what you are talking about here, or if you still have some sort of grudge. But I have already apologized to you and anyone else I might have offended or hurt in anyway. So let's move on!
