Did Palin sell pecan logs while she was mayor? Could you refill your Big Gulp for just .67? All the Dems should do is just show images of that and a floating disembodied Palin head, smiling that vacnat smile of hers, while playing some of her most ignorant quotes. "I don't know what it is the Vice President does," "The Iraq war is a task from God," etc. Also, has Gibson not asked her about her "I don't know what is is the VP does" quote? How can he let her slide by saying she's prepared when she EXPLICITLY said a MONTH AGO she doesn't even know what the office entails?
Very well stated...I recall the same hoola baloo about her RNC speech, but that wasn't the case with even CNN stating she hit a "home run" or even a "grand slam"...The indignation and fear of her being a political threat does not surprise me...It just cracks me up...These guys slap each other on the back and sigh a relief that all is well now based on her first interview...LOL~! Where are the polls and the numbers stating how she lost momentum and credibility?...These guys are great at throwing stuff at the wall that lacks verifiable evidence or un-biased sources of allegations (see troopergate, etc..) I'd rather have someone who proved themselves successfully with 10 years of executive experience being in city council, mayor, energy chairperson, almost 2 years as governor ....than contrast this with someone who is famous for being a community service organizer at one time, Harvard grad, uh...146 days in the senate? Now Obama has accomplished a good deal...Going to Harvard, and doing community service is a great thing, BUT what else besides less than 200 days in the senate? What are his executive level achievments? If I meet a foreign head of state does that make ROXRAN capable and proven to make decisions dealing with foreign policy on this fact alone? No...It takes someone who is proven in the leadership arena at the executive level... Sarah Palin is more accomplished, proven and ready than Barack Obama... The distinction on executive level experience is clear...The distinction on who has done things versus who is about "just words,...just words..." is clear... America, by indication of the polls is starting to see this as well with more clarity...
ROFLMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!! Interviewer: "Sarah, do you believe in the Bush Doctrine" Sarah " Uhhhhhhhh....what?" Done things like abuse power, threaten Librarians who don't think like her and think that an unjust war...is actually God's will. Some American's take a while to see the truth, I have faith that they are not stupid. DD
Yup, they sure have: "The poll finds that registered voters continue to wonder whether Palin, a first-term Alaska governor, is as qualified to step up to the job of president as her Democratic counterpart, Joseph Biden, who's been in the Senate for more than three decades. A majority of voters, 60 percent, think that Biden is qualified to be president, while 31 percent think he is not. By comparison, 48 percent of voters think Palin is qualified, while 44 percent think she is not." link The clarity is only going to keep on coming in the next few weeks as she's exposed as a puppet. However... people who rely on... excessive ellipses... which are indicative of the ability to link thoughts together coherently... other than stitching together Republican talking points...will continue to blindly support her... and somehow confuse exploiting Alaska's oil reserves with understanding real energy policy... I don't if there's much hope of reaching them... LOL~!
To the blind......... She had no fricken clue what the Bush doctrine was....your little librarian crush is going to get killed in the debates, she can talk tough all she wants, but most of American's would like their VP to understand what it is she is talking tough about. Palin has no clue......I am sure she knows Alaska, but she is not qualified to lead a marching band in Texas, much less be 2nd in charge of the free world. Sorry Rox...epic fail on your part. EPIC ! DD
Nope...there is no evidence to support whether the interview tied to this poll...Please make that clear...Furthermore, check out the sample size...Could it gotten any smaller???? For the survey, a nationally representative, randomly selected sample of 1,018 adults across the U.S. was interviewed by Ipsos. With a sample of this size, the results are considered accurate within ±3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20, of what they would have been had the entire U.S. adult population been polled. The margin of error will be larger within regions and for other sub-groupings of the survey population. Either way...During this very short time...Half of the U.S. believe she is qualified.
See, even more data that Bush has screwed up the educational system here in America. Dumb and dumberer !! DD
Apologies if this was posted already, but some more excerpts from her interview have come out and I'm disgusted with the the fact that she continues to lie about her previous positions. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080912/ap_on_el_pr/palin_interview
I am sorry but you people are idiots. Russia just invaded a country for goodness sake, and thats ok? She didn't say we should go to war with them, she said we need not take their hostiliy lightly. This is the same crap that went on when Hitler invaded Poland....the libs said oh its just Poland, nothing to worry about....meanwhile in the real world WWII was about to break out.
NEWSFLASH..... We invaded Iraq...... I do find it ironic that you mentioned Hitler, because I get that feeling looking at the myopic views of one Palin. DD
Many liberals had the courage to create the lincoln brigades and head off to Spain to fight against franco and hitler.
You don't have to go to war to punish Russia, oddson. Admitting Georgia into NATO now would be an implicit declaration of war.
Somewhere, Obama's campaign team and a high powered ad agency are sitting in a room drooling over the possibilities. Time to dust this one off with a new name... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bKEb4ZFfZx0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bKEb4ZFfZx0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
In my nonbiased opinion, I feel that most folks who want the Rep's to win loved her speech and are using it as something to ride on. Most pro Dem/Obama folks thought she sucked. Which side will vote more? But I haven't run across too many "we haven't made up our mind" folks that thought she did a great job in her speech. I wouldn't say pointing out clear negatives (i.e. she seems kinda clueless) means that you are looking for them. I think it's fair to say she is very inexperienced....she just is....and the more she talks the more obvious it becomes. That doesn't mean she can't help get more votes to make the Rep's win though....
If you actually watched the interview he asked her the same question like four times as she was clearly not giving him the response he was so obviously looking for. Its clear that the dems are in full out panic mode now and doing whatever they can to capture sound bites that they can use to sway voters....ala Goldwater back inthe 1960's....so much for an unbias media.
