somebody needs to photoshop palin's strange healthcare/bailout/tax cuts statement onto that picture of the cat wearing a crown like they did with ms south carolina
These kinds of things look good from distance. Stay away from earshot range and you will be fine. Palin said that she muted the SNL skit when she watched it. Maybe she thinks we all watch TV with hearing ear and cerebral subsystem disengaged.
Well to be fair, it is 12, 1 o'clock in the morning by then on a Saturday night and several glasses of wine, maybe a martini or two...
Thanks. For the record, I believe we are all closer than we all make it out to be... We're all Americans, and we do all want what's best for the country. No really... at least I know Major Malcontent and I do.
You're in a debate forum man. You're entitled to your views and that's fine, but at least get spelling down. Helps people take you a *little* more seriously. ...anyway... You can't "teach" someone to be a vice presidential candidate. They either have prepared their whole lives for it, as McCain, Obama and Biden have done...or they haven't. I understand why McCain needs this woman, and to a further extent, why he needs to postpone his campaign 40 days from the election; because it appears his understanding is that the only way to get elected is to take extreme measures to try and get a reaction. Kind of like how Lindsay Lohan does stupid things for media attention just to keep herself in the tabloids and on the television screen and more importantly...in people's minds. I think I would have been at peace with McCain being elected had he had a more suitable running mate. I could've lived with McCain/Romney I think. But to have Palin a heart beat away from being the most powerful person on the planet is almost criminal. This isn't a joke. I almost want McCain to have a do over with no repercussions at all, just please get someone more qualified there just in case he does get elected. I wouldn't even ridicule him, I'd just breathe a sigh of relief.
THAT'S THE EXACT PERSON THAT CAME TO MIND WHEN I FIRST HEARD HER TALK... but i was too embarrassed to bring it up..

Anyone else feel like bigdaddy is secretly Richard Justice? He has the whole "when people approach me with rational arguments I hide inside the indomitable fortress of sarcasm" thing down pat.
No i do not think it is wrong to be smart. Your right I should not have been rude because someone corrected my spelling. I think that I have read on this board on many occasions people mocking the same beliefs that I have and I got a little frustrated. I apologize. I also do not think that being smart makes someone a better person, just smarter. I believe Pailin is smarter than you and others are giving her credit for.
Sarcasm ^^^. I have stated my opinions, and you do not agree with them so this is what we end up with. I apologize for stooping to that level.
if mccain ends up getting elected and somehow gets Palin out of doing her debate. im not sure what ill do.
That was brutal and painful to watch...The woman has no original thought I was laughing when Couric asked about the poll numbers and saying how Americans believe that Obama is more ready to handle the economic crisis than McCain and Palin fired back with "At the end of the day, people aren't going to look at poll numbers. They're going to look at the track record" But the funny thing is the poll and the voting is what gets you in the White House, at the end of the day.
