Where is Texx, Basso, TJ, IROC it? At least have the stones to show up, and explain why she is qualified. DD
If I were in Obama's camp I would just pay CBS for that entire 5 minute video and just run that as a commercial and end it with "I am Barack Obama and I approved this message". Nothing they can come up with can top that.
Nope Obama should not stoop to that, let the media hammer it....it is their job to show the American public how ignorant she is.... DD
That's what I'm talking about. Besides spouting the scripted, negative soundbites, all I've ever heard Palin do is worship McCain and say how great he is. It's like she's a groveling cheerleader. She is practically begging for questions about why McCain is great and then gagged when put on the spot.
Didn't think ANYTHING could shut these clowns up, but apparently this was enough. That's when you absolutely know this campaign is in the dumps.
At left is George W. Bush, cheerleader at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. sorry, couldn' help myself
to quote Palin "i am ill" watching that interview since when did katie Couric become a hardball interviewer, surely a VP who is only a heart attack or stroke away from the presidency should be more with it than this........ is suspect Tina Fey could answer those questions more intelligently and coherently
That was incredibly bad. I can't imagine what McCain's camp was thinking after seeing that train wreck. My guess is that they're thinking less Palin interviews.
You need to run for president ,you seem to be smart enough. You also have the bashing part down. I will vote for McCain no matter. I would never vote for Obama and you can bash me all you want, I know in my mind what is right andwhat is wrong and on moral issues Obama is wrong way, wrong. Sarah Pailin did have a bad interview though. Y'all win that one for sure.
BigDaddy, If you are voting for him because you agree with his policies then I am 100% behind you......that is a reasonable position. I just get tired of people saying Palin is qualified, she obviously is not even close. It is not bashing if it is the truth. I do respect your choice though.....I liked McCain in 2000....just not this version. DD
Well I agree vote for who you think is best. I also believe that Pailin has not shown to be viable but I believe that she is new to the game and she might be smarter than she is showing. She did not get where she is on looks alone, although some think that is the case, she has some leadership skills.
I agree with this, the problem is that she is running NOW as the VP candidate, and her running mate is a 4 time cancer survivor who is 72 years old. So, she has to be vetted on her experience today........not 10 years from now....today....... If something happened to McCain she would step in as President and she is the worst VP candidate I have ever seen....and at this time of crisis our country can not afford that. DD
Its like when a student who is not paying attention in class and gets asked a question by the professor. The student is just stunned and kind of responds like a deer caught in headlights. The whole class knows that the student doesn't know the answer, but the teacher just quietly stands there and lets the awkward silence/tension continue until finally the student says "I don't know". You just can't help but feel bad for the student!
I'd feel more comfortable with this lady as the VP... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/lj3iNxZ8Dww&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/lj3iNxZ8Dww&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
One of my friends said something very similar: Sarah Palin always sounds like a teenager who didn't study for the test. I want Katie Couric to ask her her opinion of A Tale of Two Cities so she can be like "I believe, and John McCain believes, that A Tale of Two Cities is a very good book by Charles Dickens that is about two cities and people in those cities, I believe they're Americans, which John McCain loves" That interview was a trainwreck. I almost feel sorry for her. I don't see how anyone can defend it. And I'm sorry, but I tire of the whole, "They're being too hard on her" card. How so? If it has anything to do with being a woman, then that's just plain insulting. Women shouldn't be treated with kid gloves just because they're women, and this is coming from a woman.
