After those first two interviews it was pretty obvious to anybody with a brain that this woman was completely clueless.
Watching that video, I'm embarrassed for America. For anyone who voted for the Mav/Palin ticket, please punch yourself in the face.
I lost a lot of respect for John McCain during this election but this is bananas. So he knew she was much more ignorant than any of us were aware and yet he continued to try to put her in the second most powerful position in the country and just a heartbeat away from being the most powerful person in the world?
We need new fresh blood in the GOP. Young, charasmatic, and actually a real conservative. Someone who I can actually support based soley on his policies.
1. Palin sucks for being the worst VP pick ever 2. McCain sucks for picking her 3. Fox sucks for endlessly supporting these two throughout the campaign process. The conclusion? There is ALOT of damage control going on.. LOL. Palin is like Bush II for the Republican party. They're running away from her like a disease.
Count me as one who believes that these leaks are mostly retribution from McCain's camp over Palin's unruliness during the campaign, her "going rogue" and going off message without approval, and how she eventually ruined the campaign. That said, I don't doubt these stories one bit. I meet people all the time who think Africa is a country or assume the people there all speak the same language. It's just scary to think that one of them was a vice presidential candidate to a 72 year old man.
I can't get over how hilarious this is. I was watching O'Reilly try to play damage control when Cameron reported this on The Factor last night. It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you. Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do. I bless the rains down in AAAfrica!
1. I don't think Palin is an intelligent person. However, I don't believe that she didn't know Africa was a continentm or any of that other stuff. I know some Americans can by very, very bad with geography and it's not like she had a good education, but I have to give her more of the benefit of the doubt then just believing it because a campaign aide said so. 2. I think this behavior of turning over this dirt, real or fabricated, to the media is really classless. These people have no scruples, to assassinate this woman's character 2 days after they were working to get her elected VP. Of all the associations a candidate should be ashamed of....
This is serioiusly gutter politics: 1. It is absolutely cowardly to make these complaints via leaks. The people making these accusations are obviously not too confident in them or they would make them publicly. If the names are ever made public, their careers should be over. 2. For what it's worth, Palin has taken the high road and gone out of her way to stay very positive in regards to her public statements about Senator McCain. Also, she has stated that these allogations were untrue. Just as all conservatives should honor and respect President-elect Obama, people should stop the personality assassination stuff. For Heaven's sake, the election is over. We will never truly come together as a nation if we don't remove this type of tripe out of our public discourse.
This is sort of poetic justice. After all the smearing before the election, they're now bringing themselves down. And I find it hard feeling sorry for Palin after all she has done.
Here's the thing about the constant "why didn't he drop her" meme. McCain obviously thought he was the best choice for the White House. As such, you don't do something that will doom your presidency to failure. You can always have a VP step down due to personal reasons later. Dropping her during the campaign is basically saying "I don't want to be president."
But, you can't really know what is true and what is made-up. They certainly could stand to gain from making her look dumb.
agree completely sad thing there will be several indians who will vote for him anyone because they feel he is "one of them" it took me a while to convince my dad that the cat outside was more of an indian than Jindal was
