It is humorous that you post this as the truth when:

    1. You weren't there, and
    2. You accused her of lying to cover up it being her baby in you very last post!!!!

She couldn't have passed up all those facilities after her water broke if she wasn't pregnant.

Which one is it, oh Democratic talking point shill of the BBS?

Except he's not. Obama came out today and said that candidate's families should be off-limits.

Yeah, he said that with a wink wink and a nudge nudge. He has used Dailykos repeatedly in the past to disseminate information. You'd have to be pretty naive to think that he's not doing it again here. He himself admits to checking the site on a daily basis.

First...I didn't have to be there. It is reported all over and Palin herself confirms these things...unless you believe she is a liar now?

Second, I didn't accuse her of lying about her baby, some other blogs did that, or brought up the issue. All I did was point out the circumstances that support that notion enough to be investigated to me personally.

As I said before, at the least, to me she exercised HORRIBLE JUDGMENT in dealing with the deliver of a special needs baby according to her own story.

As worst, the story is true and she is a LIAR!

Take your pick, one of the two IS TRUE!

rocketanalyist, just keeping it real here... you should seriously consider honing your skills in another forum prior to stepping in here with the big boys. Right now you just don't have the skills needed to meaningfully contribute.

The whole flying-to-Alaska part of the story is not Dem talking points - it's confirmed. The part that is controversial, I guess, is whether she should have or was in any sort of danger.

Here's the article from Alaska at the time:

    http://www.newsminer.com/news/2008/apr/22/palins-flight-labor-falls-under-scrutiny/

Palin says she felt safe flying to Alaska to have baby

Gov. Sarah Palin’s decision to make the eight-hour flight from Dallas to Anchorage has some people wondering about the possible safety hazards of flying while in the late stages of pregnancy.

The governor, eight months into her pregnancy, noticed amniotic fluid Thursday morning prior to giving a keynote luncheon address at the Republican Governor’s Energy Conference in Texas. After wrapping up the speech, Palin and her husband consulted with her physician about possibly flying home on an earlier flight. After being granted permission from her doctor, she and her husband proceeded with the trek home.

At that point, Palin was only having minor contractions and was not showing signs of active labor, Sharon Leighow, the governor’s spokeswoman, said on Monday.

After the baby was born, Palin told her staff members that her experiences from four previous pregnancies made her comfortable with the signs of active labor. She felt that neither she nor her baby were in any danger, and so she flew home as scheduled.

Most airlines have specific policies concerning air travel during pregnancy, especially during the final months. For women traveling in the final month of pregnancy, a “permission-to-travel” letter is required by her primary physician. However, most restrictions rely on an honor policy that leaves the decision to notify the airline in the hands of the passenger.

The governor did not feel the need to inform the airline of her condition, Leighow said.

Alaska Airlines is one of the few airlines that does not have a policy regarding flight during pregnancy.

“We leave the decision to fly up to our customers and their medical advisers,” according to Alaska Airlines representative Caroline Boren.

Palin told her staff that she would not have boarded the plane had she thought she or her baby were in danger.

Had Palin needed medical assistance during the flight, ground agents and flight attendants for the airline are highly trained to look for signs of distress or other concerns with a passenger’s condition, Boren said.

“Governor Palin was extremely pleasant to flight attendants and her stage of pregnancy was not apparent by observation as she didn’t show any signs of distress,” Boren said.

Flight crew members are not specifically trained to assist in labor during a flight. But had Palin gone into active labor while en route to Anchorage, the crew would have been prepared to offer medical assistance through a system known as Med Link, a medical advisory service that allows crew members to radio for medical help during the flight.

The flight would not have needed to land, barring any emergency with the delivery.

No medical assistance was necessary for Palin during the flight.

Palin’s flight landed at 10:30 p.m. Thursday. She and her husband drove to the Mat-Su Valley Regional Medical Center, and she checked in with her doctor an hour later.

Trig Paxson Van Palin was born seven hours later.

The governor confirmed Monday that early testing showed that Trig was born with Down syndrome. The syndrome is a chromosomal disorder caused by the presence of all or part of an extra 21st chromosome.

Trig is the governor’s fifth child. She told her staff members that Trig was the easiest delivery of all her children.

I don't know. I think Obama was being sincere when he told people to lay off. He knows the potential negative backlash will bury him in the polls. If the left and the idiots in the media keep this up, no women except for the ultra-left crowd will vote for Obama in the fall.

I can't believe the depths I've seen people sink to in the last few days. I know everyone has their political leanings. But to bring her newborn with Down Syndrome, her daughter, and her daughter's pregnancy into the campaign is a new low.

The Liberal POV literally BLOWS my mind!!! WTF?? You're pro-choice until it fits your agenda? Pro-choice does not mean the woman has to have an abortion. It means she has a choice on how she handles her pregnancy, including the option of abortion....or flying in an airplane at 8 months, or even choosing where she wants to have the baby. Hypocrites.

Yes, it is 100% her choice, but if she is going to be asked to govern this country, the people have a right to look at the important choices she has made, and to judge her as a leader based on those choices.

I have no issue at all with her making that choice, it is hers, however, for me personally, I think it was a poor choice.

Making me wonder if I want a woman as the VP, who makes poor choices like this a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

WTF? What does pro-choice have to do with anything? Who cried that she should have had an abortion?

You are confusing the issues. It's not about the baby HAVING downs syndrome, nor is it about her daughter being pregnant...it is about how she relates in her judgment to those issues.

If she lied about her pregnancy, which there is no concrete proof, it is a character issues.

At the very least she flew home after her water broke, and even with the last article posted, many consider it a sign of BAD JUDGMENT.

The issue about her daughter is about her stance on abstinence for those who promote sex education.

The issues deal with her public stances and her judgment.

Don't forget, it was her and the McCain campaign that brought the issue of her daughter's pregnancy to the NATIONAL MEDIA. They were not talking about it at all even if they knew. The Campaign issued the statement to refute "blogs" that we questioning whether or not her baby was her's or her daughters. They could have ignored that.

Or they could have refuted that by just saying it wasn't true.

THEY are the ones that choose to bring her daughter into as so-called PROOF that Trig was her baby and not her daughter's baby due to her being pregnant again, which doesn't prove anything still.

So they are using her daughter as a way to answer the questions about Trig. Nice parents to throw your personal life out in the national media to squash so called rumors about them. JUDGMENT AGAIN!
