She didn't just "so-call" have the baby in Alaska, but she had it in an Alaskan town of less than 9000 people. You can't compare that to the facilities of cities like Dallas, Seattle or Anchorage...all of which she pasted up after her water breaking!

She could have just called Ron Paul. He knows a thing or two about delivering babies.

But seriously...I don't care who politicians make babies with, much less how they are delivered. I'd giver her the benefit of the doubt as to her reasons, and accept that they areny my business.

There are people who want natural delivery away from a hospital, especially "advanced" hospitals. Get over it.

I will give anyone that benefit of the doubt to make their personal decisions...until they ask for my vote to become VP of the USA, which could possibly then become President...then I want to know about their decision making ability and judgment characteristics. But that's just me.

My wife had natural deliveries in a hospital, but I agree with you, in general. However, there is a huge difference from having a natural childbirth in or out of a hospital and having your water break in Texas, getting on a jet, and then flying to Alaska, with a stop in Seattle. In my opinion, that screams BAD JUDGEMENT.

Yes, but I'm not voting for her because I don't like her political stances, or John McCain's. But if I was inclined to vote for her, I don't think this would change my opinion, even if we found out the baby was Shawn Kemp's.

Maybe JUDGMENT doesn't matter to you or some people. Maybe you and/or other people liked the Presidency of Bush/Cheney for this country.

It's okay...it is a Democracy so you are entitled. For some, it is clear that NOTHING would ever make them vote against their party's candidate.

I thought it was dangerous for pregnant women to fly? I've heard this many times.

Clinton showed some poor judgment with his intern, and Larry Craig really showed some poor judgment with his wide stance. Thomas Jefferson showed poor judgment by making babies with his slaves...

but these things aren't as damning as suspending habeas corpus (Lincoln, Bush), manipulating public opinion to go into an unconstitutional war (McKinnley, Bush, Wilson, Johnson), or say, waging an unwinnable and expensive war on such esoteric enemies as poverty (LBJ) drugs (Reagan) or terrorism (Bush).

These are the things that upset me. Not tabloid headlines.

I've said in many threads before that I'm NOT voting for McCain. I said I'm just not voting. Bad judgments are going on with BOTH candidates and parties. Pick your poison with this year's election. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have the WORST choices for President this year. Can you honestly say that McCain is the Republicans IDEAL choice? Can you say that Obama is the Democrats IDEAL choice? NO. This year's election is like a reality show. Dems picked a Rock Star and the Republicans picked a Pseudo-Conservative. Neither candidate makes their party 100% happy. Say what you will in 2000, but Dems were happy with Gore as their pick while Repubs were happy with GWB. You can't say that this time around can you?

I will say that Obama is the Democrats ideal choice. That doesn't mean he doesn't have flaws and make mistakes, but I will vote for him because I like him, not as the lesser of two evils.

I think you are right about them. I was speaking for myself only. You could argue that since Obama won the popular vote in the primaries(despite what some might claim) that overall he is still the ideal candidate for most Dem voters. I'm not going to make that claim because I can't read minds. I spoke merely for myself.

I think you need to reduce that 18 milllion down to 27% of those before the convention...and Im sure less than that afterwards....How about maybe 3 million left that were really republicans voting for a woman for president?

dude then more people than not wanted gore as president of america. it's politics. we have the system in place for a reason. you only have to win by a majority, even if it's by ONE vote, you're the winner.

    get over it.

and that 18 million voters -> like 1 million or so. the majority support obama b/c they supported hillary's POLICIES, which align with obama's.

You know, pregnancy isn't just like in the movies. It's not like the baby drops two seconds after you start to leak amniotic fluid. It's possible for fluid to leak WELL (even weeks, if I recall) in advance of labor.

That being said, I'm not sure why she would get on an airplane that late in her pregnancy.
