I don' get it - where are the liberals spreading rumors or pushing this story????

It was a celeb magazine that was doing that and geez, it was posted here by a republican supporter.

And now it's a lib smear campaign??? This is why I am getting so sick of the right. All you guys are doing is alienating independents and moderates.

It was a celeb blog that got it from a liberal blog...an African-American blog that has over the past year made it known it's political support for Obama. It was posted by a HILLARY supporter.

It's what makes politics so frustrating. Before long, they'll be blaming the Democrats for Bush. All with a straight face.

I wonder if there's a way to quantify and compare the coverage of this story on left-leaning blogs and right-leaning blogs.

Then why didn't you source the liberal blog? Why the celeb blog?

And it was posted by a hillary supporter? A hillary blogger? Where is the source on this?

And in fairness, should we take every random idiotic post that some right-wing nut makes about Obama and post it here????

Well, DailyKos is all over this story, and the evidence is mounting:

    http://dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/8/30/121350/137/486/580223

Apparently in addition to all the photographic and video evidence against her, Sarah Palin stayed to deliver a speech while her water allegedly broke, then instead of finding a top hospital in Dallas to deliver the baby, opted instead to take an 8 hour flight back to Alaska, with a stopover in Seattle, and did not inform the airline that she was pregnant (no one noticed anything either). And then when she got to Anchorage she didn't go to one of the hospitals there, but went to a small town outside Wasilla to get delivered at a remote clinic.

    Curiouser and curiouser.

That's the frustrating part, they think it's OK when they post that stuff, but when one of them posts it and then blames it on Obama supporters, they feign this whole "I'm so offended how dare you" attitude and then pull out the same kind of rumors. All within the same post.

Maybe she wanted to have the baby in Alaska, so when the Alaskan Independence Party finally has its way, her newborn will be a recognzied Alaskan citizen.

Well, it doesn't look good at all. Remember we're talking about a one month premature baby, from an 44 year old woman. We are supposed to believe she waited well over 9 hours to have the baby delivered after her water broke. It doesn't make sense and at best is horrible, horrible judgment from a mother.

Even if she wanted to have the baby born in Alaska, why didn't she go to a high quality hospital in Anchorage when she arrived? A premature baby with genetic defects should have top notch medical care, no?

I was referring to someone saying that a Republican posted this story here. I am the Hillary supporter. I voted for Hillary, I waited in a stinky gym for 5 hours during the caucus, I was a Hillary alternate delegate, yet people here try to SMEAR me as a Republican.

Talks like a duck, walks like a duck... You've been spouting nothing but GOP talking points on here for months. Lots of Republicans "voted for Hillary," just like they were told to by Rush Limbaugh.

LOL! My wife and family have been Democrat supporters ever since they came to this country and all voting for Obama. GOP talking points? Because I question Obama and his short-lived political career, I'm labeled a Republican, a racist, and now a duck. Well Quack quack! Just so you know, I am not Rich, or White, or fit the mold of a Republican or Rush Limbaugh supporter.

Dude, you earned your reputation. If you're such a democrat, or independent, or Hillary supporter, or whatever, point me to 5 posts you've made where you've argued a position from a liberal perspective. You're the one claiming to be a disaffected liberal, but all you do is spout the same stuff I see on Fox News and the Drudge Report.

you kow what they say - if it attacks like a republican and lies like a republican, it probably is a republican.

that's a joke, but seriously, lately the level of discourse coming from republicans here with the sole exception of a handful (namely weslander) has been pretty bad.
