Troopergate? Do you really think that can make or break this election. If you think this is a big deal, than the Bill Ayers and Rev Wright issue would have ended Obama's run a long time ago. Nobody is going to care about her firing some cop. As far as the whole pregancy thing goes...its really not worth bringing up, because its such a baseless accusation.

 

Difference? Troopergate is about an Abuse of power. Against the law. Wright and Ayers have nothing to do with legal issues.

Probably not, but it depends on the details that come out (and how fast). The election is in only 60 days. If enough smoke is there, that isn't a lot of time to blow it away. If the Rev. Wright issue was just coming out at this moment, it would derail Obama's campaign momentum.

Timing is everything. Based on rimrocker's post a few minutes ago, if McCain did not vet Palin properly, there may other issues that could come up because the Dems and the press will most definitely vet her thoroughly.

IF this story is true, it's big. She lied and legally falsified the mother of a child. That means she took maternity leave fraudulently and she potentially illegally falsified insurance coverages. If you or I did that, we'd be immediately fired from our jobs. These would be serious charges, if true.

Since there is no facts to support the story, it doesn't matter.
