    Your comment:

"Maybe that is why she flew to an obscure clinic to have the baby?"

in response to the comment that "birth records could be manipulated" implies that you think something fishy is going on.

Just because something doesn't seem right and you observe this fishiness doesn't mean that you believe it 100%. I seriously doubt that Trig is the daughters but that doesn't mean I can't go through the facts that we know and see if they fit one way or the other and even speculate possible scenarios.

I do question her judgement in flying 9 hours after her water broke to get to an obscure place to have her baby.

It does seem fishy to me, but that doesn't mean it isn't her kid....but something smells rotten about it to me.

No...it was always true...Edwards just hid it from everyone. You all THOUGHT it was crap because you didn't want to believe the truth.

Anyone who starts ANY thread here with the national enquirer as their source is going to catch HUGE flack.

And based on their journalistic history, one should probably wait for a more credible source before posting that stuff.

Regardless of whether it turns out to be true, if I see a headline in Star magazine that McCain is boning some intern I'm not going to post it, or about it, until I see some more compelling evidence.

In regards to political figures and celebrities, they have been pretty accurate recently.

Alright, one hit out of how many misses? Stop stroking yourself and your ego for posting that John Edwards story. It does not make the National Enquirer instantly credible.

I'll echo the sentiments that this thread sucks.

Forgive me... I haven't been following this hot issue. Is this good news for John McCain?

Do you really want to go down the road of multi-year thread bumps? Given your posting history it's not going to be pretty.

...And Basso's dumb @ decides to bump a thread that is pretty much meaningless.

You must be a trust fund baby. Who has the time to search through every right-wing blog and post it on a ROCKETS forum?

Answer: you, an undercover (not really) tea-partier/birther.

No, better question: Can you name anyone on the Rockets besides Yao Ming? Also, Tracy doesn't play for us anymore, just to catch your BillO mindset up.

Just go post in a Glenn Beck forum or something, dude. I don't mind considering conservative ideologies, but this is getting ridiculous.

Maybe we should bump the thread with basso telling us how much he liked Michael Steele, and how great he thought Michael Steele was, and how Steele's election run was really the only one he cared that much about because he liked Steele so much. Hahahahahahahahaha.

    haha - you are funny.

I love how you try to trick people into reading your fringe right wing blogs by just posting a link as a means to..as your mentor would say... refudiate someones argument from 2 years ago.

    Give it up.

Actually, the election he really cares about is Steele's 2012 and 2016 presidential bids.

I'm going to join with basso and attempt to draft Steele. For both years. He has proven himself to be a man who will ensure great things for the country by giving the Keystone Kops the type of leadership they richlly deserve.

Just a couple of comments. basso isn't a tea party goofus. He's been a goofus for a very long time here, but before there was a "tea party."

basso is definitely a Rockets fan and has posted in the GARM before. He chooses not to post there much, probably because he's having too much fun trolling here.

Which leads me to one more comment. I have basso on ignore because he claims to have a child with Downs or something similar, yet uses that "fact" as part of his political trolling shtick here in D&D. B-Bob even started a thread to discuss the issue of children with Downs and similar challenges, possible treatments, and how parents attempt to deal with them. I posted in it. The response from basso? He immediately attempted to twist a thread explicitly begun by B-Bob to be non-political, out of a genuine interest in the topic, into a paean of the virtues of Ms. Palin and her Downs baby. That was all she wrote for me and basso. I had defended him before, made excuses for him, because he is obviously intelligent and has views on some topics that are not of the far-right, fundamentalist whacko variety, but this was simply too much.

Think about this... basso says he has a child who is challenged with a birth defect(s). He has spent countless hours and posts here vilifying those who criticized Palin for what they see as Palin using her Downs child for political purposes. Then what does basso do? He uses his own child for political purposes here. To say that disgusted me would be an understatement, and I dare say B-Bob was astonished, as well. So no more basso. Bringing back this thread is yet another example of basso using the challenges involved with raising a child born with disabilities for his own political uses.

I hope this clears the air a bit for those who don't "know" basso very well, as well as anyone can know anyone else in a venue like this. He's a troll and a troll without a conscious.

"Trolls With No Conscience." if i even start a band, that would be a great name.

i assume you're referring to this thread, and not to belabor the point, i will just say you misunderstood my point (as i noted in the thread.) for some reason, any mention of the persons in question is somehow "political," even when it is stated explicitly that the intent is otherwise. in any case, i'll just highlight this post again, as a small beacon of sanity in an otherwise dismal body of posts on the subject.

i've decided generally against posting personal/familial details on this site. i recall you've done the same. it's unfortunate, but the risks are not worth it.
