That's how it is in most parts of the world. Why do you think **** like this happens in the Middle East? Why do you think Christians in Uganda kill gays? And it's not just religious people ethier, every ****ing moron on the face of the Earth wants to be told what to do, what to think, what to believe. Why do you think some people blindly followed like Hitler? Why do some people's opinions dependent on that of their political parties? It's because 99% of people are ****ing morons and can't form their own ideas.

The thing is, this is just a manifestation of the same mindset behind the outrage over the Danish cartoons. Folks, this is what happens where the people who are outraged over the cartoons are in power. This should be a message to the oh-so-tolerant leftists who argued in favor of these people.

No, I think he's saying you can't blame the religion itself if there is nothing in the religion's texts that says this is the fitting punishment for such a crime.

Hamed Abdul Samad said this very well: When muslims want e.g. public funding in Europe for mosques, they speak of one Islam. When people do horrible things in the name of Islam, the response is always "they are not muslims, this is not Islam". Simple trick.

Obviously, many, many muslims regard it as a "crime" when someone supposedly "insults the prophet". So it's not like there is fundamental disagreement on that, is it? It's just the extent of the punishment that there is disagreement about.

 

I have a problem with those, and I also have a problem with those that oppress women, discriminate against gays, discriminate against "infidels", refuse to co-exist peacefully, call non-muslim women in Europe "whores" and treat them like that, etc. etc.

 

I think that probelm tends to be much more common in Europe then here in the US.

 

I just saw it yesterday with my own eyes, a few Arabic kids loitering in a shopping mall, grabbing girls' asses as they were walking by, etc. It is very common in some cities in Europe.
