wear these... <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7HD9BmRtdSs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
How do peoples bad little kids tearing around the store matter to me? How do people cussing freely in public impact me? How do peoples slovenly behavior and dress hurt me? I just think it all points to a general decline in our society. And it bothers me. That's how it impacts me. Just a general malaise over it all.
well, if by pajamas you mean underwear then that's a different story. stores have policies about that. but who cares about sweats or pajama pants. why are you busy staring at other ppl in wal-mart of all places anyway? i expect to see fat ugly trashy people at walmart. i wouldnt even do a double take if someone came into mcdonald's in their pajamas. who the hell cares? it's a trashy place. think about it. you're complaining about your WAL-MART experience... it's not like they're ruining your vacation at a resort... let me emphasize, again, that if they weren't wearing underwear (and were male or an overweight ugly female) then that's offensive.
How did you think the WALMART experience get so crappy? People with your attitude. Yes, after too many people like that I've come to expect to see fat, ugly, trashy people at Walmart. And that makes it ok, how?
Etiquette Editor: "It’s not just about self-respect; it’s about respecting those around you. If you have little regard for those around you, wear pajamas and slippers and announce to the world you don’t care if you’re offending, you're going to wear what you want." That is absurdly circular reasoning. In other words: Its offensive because it shows you don't care that you are offending others. To hell with this brand of "etiquette". People should stop judging others who aren't impacting anyone but themselves. If you're so sensitive that you can't stand the sight of someone else wearing pajama pants, you've got problems.
Walmart is trashy b/c it's a low-end store that caters to everyone with their LOW LOW Prices. As a matter of fact, I find your whole attitude more offensive than the ugly people at Wal-Mart. At least they don't b!+ch and whine about how society is doomed b/c ppl have no "self-respect" anymore. This isn't the 1950's. Go shop at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or the Crate Store or someplace where someone gives a damn. Don't try to make the majority of clientele at Wal-Mart cater to your idea of etiquette. If you're the one who is sticking out then you're the one who has a problem.
All this elitism and grandstanding by people who know the "proper" way that everyone should conduct themselves is MORE damaging to society. People and their control issues. Its all regional. You're not going to go to Brazil and tell people what they should or shouldnt be wearing when they leave their houses.
How To Wear Pajama Pants in Public Without Looking Like a Slob Female fashion etiquette in general, I've missed so many memos on that its not even worth caring about anymore. I guess something like the above blog counts as a memo. It think its all silly myself, but then I don't really have a standard of what people SHOULD wear.
