As a player, I loved Clyde Drexler. He is a Houston legend and hero.

As a color commentator, he is God awful. He's like Dr. Hibbert from the Simpsons, laughing at the most inappropriate times. He is just not good by any measure whatsoever.

I really like Bullard. I would be happy with him as the full time color commentator.

Clyde is garbage - I love Bullard. He's funny, knows the game, and most importantly he's actually a real fan of the team. His commentary in the Boston game should have landed him a 10 year extension!

Maybe it's just me but I actually think Clyde is pretty entertaining and fun to listen to.

I used to dump on Bullard a lot. He's gotten much better, though. He breaks down plays really well, and he's generally pretty knowledgeable about players and their tendencies. If he just cut out the corny jokes, he'd be real good. Drexler is like nails on chalkboard to me.

There was an interesting interview with Bill Worrell a couple weeks ago on 610am. He was asked to compare Bullard and Drexler. He said Bullard has really improved and might be the best person with a telestrator he's ever worked with. When talking about Drexler, he said that being such a great player compared to Bull, he didn't have to pick up all the X's and O's stuff. But he's really good in analyzing players and knowing what kind of defenses teams should run down the stretch and blah, blah. Basically, he couldn't think of anything positive to say about Clyde so he had to make up some crap on the spot. It was good for a laugh.

Yeah, Bullard has really improved over the last couple of years. He does a really good job and actually breaks down plays. And he really never sounds like an idiot.

bullard is good during the game..but you can tell during the pregame and post game when the camera is actually on him he is super nervous..clyde really isnt THAT bad, he just needs to talk normally instead of acting like what he says is the greatest analysis of all time...plus drexlerisms are getting funnier sheeit

It's like Clyde is just having a good time there and enjoying his retirement. I'd be the same way because I'm pretty laid back, so I like the way Clyde does his job. I find him hilarious because he's so clueless and random.

Bullard has his share of corny jokes, and is pretty much a homer. He's a godsend for us die-hard Rockets fan, but I can imagine how other fans would want to kill both him and Bill Worrell.

Every single call against Yao: "OH COME ON!! ( )"

Calls we get (even if questionable): "Good call by the refs. They've been consistent about their calls tonight! ( ) "
