Root Canal, no painkillers. My dentist said that I didn't need any. I felt like my gums were being raped with a drill.
Uhhh, Mr. Nyquil... did you say you were raped and you want money for damages, is that what I heard? Sincerely,
now for my reply. getting stung by the constituents of a wasp nest (17 of em I think--much better than it coulda been) foot surgery with a joint fused, a section of bone removed, a tendon cut, and a screw and pin inserted... (and the fear that if i put ANY pressure on my foot during the first 6 weeks, i'd break it) getting undercut and landing arm first, breaking it having temporary fillings with holes in them with cavities that were right next to the root (recent) having the dentist drill without anesthesia into what he thought was just bonding material, but was actually tooth (and lots of gums). resulting in a hole between my teeth that was more sensitive than anything i've ever had for 2 weeks
finding out the news that someone you really love has been sleeping around on you, and getting my ribs kicked in in military school
Divorce I'd have rather been beaten to the brink of death than have to go through that. While things are much better now, it was horrible at the time.
An extremely severe case of roid + fissure in the butt (if you know what I mean) over a year ago. I had to walk out of the doc's office on a 2nd floor building to my car parked in a open lot at roughly 3/4 football stadium length away and drive back home. The only non-aggravating postion was kneeling or laying face down. The walk (with frequent stops and resting) took me 45 minutes. I was screaming like hell in my car the whole time I was driving. Literally experienced the true mean of "pain in the butt."
3. foot surgery, they had to shove 5-6 huge needles in the bottom of my food before they got to work...that alone was horrible, my foot was soaked in blood for about 3 days 2. playin basketball, turned ankle, completely destroyed stuff in ankle, couldnt walk straight for 8 months, then got shin splints which SUCK for anyone whos had em, couldnt walk straight for another 3 months 1. not me, but my brother...he had what equates to a stroke when he was 8-9 yrs old. just hearin him scream, i cant imagine what he was going through, comatose for 2-3 weeks...but thats the most painful thing ive ever experienced in my whole life, and it wasnt even me who was in the physical pain
I was crazy insane over this little 8th grade b**** until she kneed me in the balls and called me f*****. Wost pain there is...
I don't know the exact pain, but getting my hip replaced was horrible... when I woke up out of the anesthesia, I could feel the pain of having my bones sawed off and drilled out, and the pain of having a metal prosthetic shoved down into the marrow of my femur. All of that put together was absolutely horrible. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
I tore my acl playing soccer at bear creek park in houston in 1999 and that was the worst physical pain i've ever had in my life
seriously, thats a malpractice lawsuit waiting to happen...that's just crazy this might be the worst mental pain i have
Physical: I dont remember Emotional: when I asked a girl to be my girlfriend and she said no, Im still in love with her, but I know that will never happen (TĂș la has visto Slowly) And I dont going to post her pics.
Mine was a kidney stone back in 87 when I was eighteen years old. Super early in age for kidney stones and the doctors predicted I'd have many more on account of getting that one so young. I gave up a bunch of stuff as a result, most notably going vegetarian which I still am. Never had another, thank goodness. I didn't even have to pass mine -- it broke up before it came to that. But I've broken all kinds of bones and had all kinds of injuries and I've never experienced anything near that kind of pain.
I've had the misfortune the past few years of having a pretty large sample size: - tore both ACLs - ruptured my Achilles - had a kidney stone The absolute worst pain was after my second ACL operation. For a variety of reasons (they took a long time letting me out of the recovery room, being discharged in the evening when there weren't many pharmacies open, etc.), I didn't have my prescription for the painkiller filled until a couple hours after getting home. By that time, all of the pain meds from the operation had worn off, and I was in absolute agony. One thing I learned from that and the kidney stone -- you never, ever chase the pain. Best to take the painkiller as soon as your prescription allows before the pain kicks in. If you wait until your really hurting, it's too late. The kidney stone was a close second, but those few hours after surgery and before my wife got home with the percoset or whatever sticks out in my mind as being unbearable.
Bats, What other stuff did they have you give up? I was supposed to give up coffee and dark tea. I did it for a little while and then went back. Luckily I haven't had another kidney stone, but I think about it every now and then when I have a cup of Earl Grey ...
i was in a car accident. the car rolled over three times. luckily i didn't feel a thing(b/c i was unconscious). other than that i've had mostly a pain free life.
Was training for a show and my horse broke into a gallop. I was really muddy bc it had been raining for a week or so. I turned him in a circle and he lost his balance, we both went down and he landed on my leg. I hit the ground on my side. I cracked a few ribs ripped open the bottom of my chin and was bruised from head to toe. The only other pain that is worthy of noting is when I was attacked, in the face, by my neighbors dog. He ripped out a good 3" hole and it was about an inch deep. I didn't want to let the doctors know that it was my neighbor ( he was sick and the dog was all he really had) So I got all the rabies shots in my stomach- I think there was a series of 7 that I had.
