You are still having trouble paying attention and continue to say stupid things. I will explain it slowly. First, one does not excel in litigation with “no personality”. Second, institutional racism in this country originates from white people.

All the "boom" came from computer/electrical/electrical, a result of the AI frenzy and bubble that started under Biden but had nothing to do with him

Intentionally taking things out of context to build a narrative is not an honorable method of debate

So we circle back to tariffs -- shocking the system , short term pain for long term pain . forcing concessions from trade partners because as the us goes, so does the world.

WTF are you talking about. TSMC said the ONLY reason they built the factory in AZ is because of the chips act. The only reason Asian car makers are making EVs in USA is cuz of the strict made in USA rules that the IRA had in them. The only reason we're seeing 100+ new battery plants open up in the midwest is because of the generous subsidies we have in the IRA which helps offset half of manufacturing cost.

There has been 400+ billion dollars invested in new manufacturing and over 500+ new projects directly linked to the laws congress passed under biden. You can track them here. Your lies and bullshit dont make them the truth

when eisenhower built the highway system across the US, it wasn't based on someone else having done it

he had a vision and went for it

kennedy's tax cuts were unprecedented for a democrat, especially in that era of high taxes, but they ended up kickstarting the economy after his death

this is a time unlike any other. decades of globalization have left the prospects and wealth of the bottom 90% of americans fading. it really is late stage capitalism with a soaring stock market bubble increasing the wealth gap. the middle class and poor are ready to roll the dice and you have to respect that. if it fails, the democrats can have no excuse to not win midterms and build on that.

I think it is past your bedtime, as you are making less and less sense.

Harvard disagrees with my statement that one does not succeed in litigation with “no personality”? I don’t think that’s a Harvard worthy topic, but if the institution were to take a position, I would think it would agree with me, particularly since a Harvard has a fine law school.

Or perhaps you mean Harvard disagrees with my statement that institutional racism in this country originates from white people? Hmm, I’m gonna go ahead and say Harvard probably agrees since it is a statement of the obvious. I even asked Siri, just to double check.

Or did you just post something about the litigation regarding Harvard’s admissions practices because I said I am Asian and had a high SAT score and that’s the first thing you could think of?

In any case, I think it is wonderful that you have grown and learned so much from our little discussion that you put my words in your signature block. It looks great.

TSMC Unveils $100 Billion US Investment in Boost for Trump

TSMC Chief Executive Officer C.C. Wei joined Trump at the White House to unveil the company’s vision for expanding a US footprint that got its start in 2020 during the president’s first term. Trump said the move means “the most powerful AI chips in the world will be made right here in America.”

    lol

All you do is curse and swear. The primary incentive to domesticize battery ev production was to have control over the supply chain. This was bipartisan as everyone saw how expensive chips became due to covid and overseas production. No one wants to be reliant on China -- tariffs only highlight that. Don't agree with Trumps attacks on clean energy, but you can't win them all.

If you werent such a dumbass and read the actual article you would see.

"That legislation, signed in 2022, led to TSMC winning $6.6 billion in grants to support three plants in Phoenix."

TSMC only decided to bring back manufacturing after Biden signed the chips act. His dumbass tariffs didnt bring back manufacturing when he was POTUS his first term. It was congress passing subsidies that brought them back.

Its just amazing how big of a dumbass you are. You just proved my point by showing how Biden subsidies brought back manufacturing while Trumps dumbass tariffs didnt do anything.

ZERO republicans voted for the IRA which is directly responsible for bringing back 100+ battery plants to the midwest. Again your cult heros dumbass tariffs didnt bring them back.

    There is no alt account.

LOL at all of these liberal, small picture thinkers around here -- worried about short term disruption when long term gain is the plan. You can't achieve big success without VISION. And you guys lack it. You can't affect CHANGE without disruption. This is what change looks like. The machine, and those who stand against America's success, will do everything they can to oppose it. Expect turbulence, but we will ultimately arrive at our destination -- which is MORE American jobs, LOWER prices, MORE quality of life, MORE purchasing power, FAIR trade.

Trump 1.0 had shown the world that the 78-yr convicted felon lacks the ability to get things done.

    • the infrastructure bill
      • he campaigned on it, started "infrastructure week" 8 times, but never could come up w a plan
    • building the southern border wall
      • it was tops on his campaign agenda, he failed to deliver
    • repeal and replaced ObamaCare
      • another campaign slogan that he failed to deliver

in summary, as POTUS, Trump has shown that he is all hat no cattle !

that's what Herbert Hoover's rationale---campaigning for a global trade war---during the 1928 presidential campaign trail.

that turbulence evolved into the Great Depression which, in the US, lasted a little over 10 years

When you have to go back 100 years (and you hilariously botched the date, btw) to find your counter-example... well, it's not a compelling argument... The world has changed and the USA has not been capturing everything it can -- we've been leaving good money on the table at the expense of the quality of life of Americans. Trump is negotiating for what is OURS.

Yikes, hopefully things will be resolved before peak summer usage. Without power from Canada, peaker plants will have to operate, leaving less reserve capacity for summer peaks.

The stupid thing is that this higher price is not something that will drive new investment in power plants in the US since an agreement between US and Canada could be struck at any time. So no one will spend hundreds of millions of dollars to build new plants when there is no long term clear path for ROI.

So people will just have to suffer.

It's like he hasn't paid any attention whatsoever to the facts of what's been happening, but just listened to the orange man's BS, and the echo chamber on right wing networks.
