Of course he meant it the first way. Offensive or not it was a joke and the second way isn't even a joke. Not the first time he's said it by the way. I've been around him when he's made the same joke. I laughed. I was surprised when it became a controversy because if you know him at all (I mean from TV or anything) he is so obviously a sweet family man that was just making a relatively innocent locker room style joke. Maybe the front office shouldn't be making locker room jokes. Okay. But it's not like there's any indication in any of this that he did anything malicious or knowingly wrong.
I think it's groovy that our GM is an actual human being, instead of a glassy eyed plastic man, a Stepford GM.
Rather than be outraged, I recommend women just crack more L.D. jokes. We would all laugh more and wouldn't have to get upset about REAL consequential inequalities when talking about something absolutely harmless and meaningless.
Morey faints: Women's College Cancels 'Vagina Monologues' Because It Excludes Women Without Vaginas http://reason.com/blog/2015/01/15/womens-college-cancels-vagina-monologues
I'm glad we have a GM that can shoot the **** like a normal guy. One of the reasons he's my favorite in Houston. Who cares that some overly sensitive PC people can't take it.

Why? Is it wrong or anti-feminist to say Gynecologists don't get sick of pu$$y even if they see it every day? I don't understand, what's there to be offended about?
Whether he was joking or not doesn't matter. We as people need to take more accountability for what we say and do.
But in all seriousnes Lou, who gets to set standards for acceptability? What about standards for appropriate measures? I agree that we should all embrace personal accountability and take it up to be better people, but there are very few (relatively) things that most of us agree upon as standards for the state of things. Rights to private property and police/fire/emergency are some of them that 99.9% agree upon. When you let someone dictate what someone else is allowed to believe or say, you are walking down a very shaky pathway. Social advocacy groups almost always tend to abuse this kind of power and push just by the nature of being. Also, with social media being a very real integral thing in our modern era, the notion of censorship becomes and surveilance becomes a bigger factor. I could write a program to compile a list of people on twitter who make sex jokes on any kind of relative basis and send them to some social advocacy group on the internet. Who knows what kind of action and people they'd decide to tell? Who gets to decide which jokes were worse than others? Who gets to decide who wasn't even joking at all? Would there be crazies out there who would love to write smut and have someone lose their job over the notion of a vagina joke? There are. I think we all should get much thicker skin instead of resorting to some kind of policing measures. They are always abused and people who don't deserve **** end up getting hell.
well i was for one that loved it the moment he tweeted it. good joke, just a sensitive society these days. too bad
Anybody that has heard gynecologists interviewed by the media and entertainment industry knows that they get just as bored with their job as anybody else. This is what Morey was saying and he trolled everybody with it. That's why its funny and why he should never apologize. By the way, this is the GARM, and as such we should keep it that way. Right now we're reading like a transcription of The View. This thread has nothing to do with GARM. If you enjoy getting your panties wadded up over such trivial minutia please take it to hangout and enjoy the lib feeding frenzy over there. We're trying to win a championship over here.
