No, because Pacman was still coming at him. I was kinda annoyed by Clottey playing defense the entire time though.

Also, Im going to laugh pretty hard if Mosely beats Mayweather

Floyd is hiding in a cave somewhere in the mountain ranges between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Good luck flushing him out.

I like Clottey's strategy at first but he did over do it big time.

Clottey was not trying to win, but trying to defend his being KO'd in a fgiht. SAme with Gayweather, trying to protect his undefeated record by fighting smaller and old figthers.

Amazed how one-sided this one was. This is, after all, a guy who gave Cotto a run for his money (and, I believe, was robbed of a decision).

Cotto only won 2-3 rounds also, though he put up a lot more in his fight than Clottey's "weather the storm" plan.

Clottey fights nothing like mayweather. May has defense but he actually thows punches too. Way faster than Clottey. When Clotty threw, he landed. Dude, had a chance to make this a closer fight but played it safe. Mayweather isn't all defense, he uses defense to create offense. Clottey was all defense this fight.

A pac may fight would be like pac marquez and we all know how close those were. Only mayweather is much better than marquez and pacqiao has imrpoved a lot since those figts. It would be nowhere near as lopsided as this fight.

the fight was a showcase of manny's speed and power. i think at one time he unleashed a powerful 8punch combination that moved Clotty back to the rope. This is the kind of offense that Floyd is avoiding that can break his d.

I don't think so. Pacquiao may throw wild bombers when he forces an opponent into an exchange - nobody can match him in that respect - but the first few punches he throws are a lot like Marquez'. So, unless Floyd exchanges with him, which will never, ever, happen, he's safe.

What Floyd's worried about is the power. A good amount of Floyd's defense is letting himself get hit at shallow angles, thereby, lessening the force of the punch. However, that won't matter if the power of the punch is simply too great. That's why he's so adamant about the blood test.

Manny just can't retire without Pacquiao-Marquez III.

I was also implying power not jsut speed of Pacquiao.

Marquez? he'll get crashed. Manny Beat Marquez relying only on his power left, now Manny has improved a lot. Marquez got knocked down my Diaz recently. I don't think it'll be a close fight.

I have been a Floyd fan since I use to watch his fights in 98 while I was in the military in Germany. He quickly became my favorite boxer and still is. For those who continue to watch his fights and say he does nothing but run it's called boxing not punchout and a key element in boxing is called DEFENSE.

Only boxer all-time I think that compete with this man defensively is Pernell Whitaker!

I admire Floyd's defense on the ring but to be very picky about who to fight, iss a fact and reflects negatively on his overall boxing record.

Picky in the sense that he like to choose smaller if not older boxers. AND IT'S A FACT!
